Guy's Behavior

This guy im interested in is twice my age and is sending mixed signals, how do I know if he likes me?

Ok a little back story, I am 24F and I work at a family owned store with my grandparent and mother. The guy I am curious about is a frequent customer and family friend. He is in his 50's, and we will call him Paul. Now when Paul interacts with me he sends mixed signals. He holds eyes contact when talking with me and enjoys telling me about himself. He has put strong emphasis on how he feels about people who hurt women and children, and how he'd never hit a woman etc. How he's been through a lot of crazy things. Just sharing personal information. The most confusing part is concerning different customer. He is also in his 50's, let's call him Bob. He is also a family friend and nice and talkative as well. Paul doesn't particularly like Bob. But for some reason he has been teasing that Bob likes me and has a big crush on me. Almost everytime we speak he brings it up, asking things like "has bob been over to hug you yet?" Or just bringing up an interactions he witnessed. He even returned to the store when he seen Bob come in and he stayed till he left, making gestures behind him at me and acting weird. Recently, he brought it up and said "you better watch in telling you he likes you" from which I responded "that he is married" Paul scoffed and said his wife was ugly and said "watch he wants a pretty young girl like you. " and he got quite. I mentioned he wasn't too old for me and he just changed the subject. He enjoys teasing me for some reason about him I just don't know why. I'm naturally a shy person, and the other women I work with he doesn't do that with. Am I reading into that? He has a lot of health problems too, and he made a strange comment recently that someone said he was with someone but he wasn't.. he said he'd prob never get in another relationship again because of his health. He kind of directed that towards me, but it felt like he wanted someone to disagree. Any suggestions will help. Thank you!
