so, i really like this guy however im getting mixed signals. when he texts me, he uses multiple letters at ythe end (e. g heyyy, stoppp), we have a lot of the same interests and he’s previously flirted with me, however he does unfortunately take a while to reply to me (like 3 hours, 2 hours etc, but im unsure if thats because i got so nervous to talk to him i accidentally left him on delivered for an hour). also, before i began conversation hed only talk to me when our favourite team was playing, so i don’t really know what’s going on? also, we are long distance

Well first off when I read long distance that threw up a red flag for me. Those types of relationships are notoriously hard to have. I think you need to evaluate that component of the situation first. How often would you two be able to see each other? What would be the cost? Those are things that I would be asking myself. Let's be honest and look at your question. You don't even know if he likes you and you're thinking about a long distance relationship. This is the problem you are going to encounter with a long distance relationship... mixed signals. You are going to have to rely on text messages or email or whatever for the majority of this relationship should you have one with him. You already can't read him very well. What happens when things get lost in translation?

Sounds like he’s not really interested. I never understood LDR. I think for women it’s beneficial, but for men, knowing that sex is a big thing to men, makes no sense. He may be interested in stringing you along, maybe try to get some nudes from you or some side action if you or he is ever in each others city. But I’m thinking as a man I’d rather be w someone in my area, that way we can be together, hang out, be intimate. If he’s around your age, at that age men are looking to get laid a lot. I know I was. So no I wouldn’t be in a long distance relationship. I might talk to a girl overseas or in another state just to get my rocks off. Flirt, see if she will send me some tit pics or something. But that’s about it as far as what I could get out of it. I’m not saying an LDR is impossible.

I think you need to relax and let it flow. You are overthinking it. If he likes you it will reveal itself in time. Take is slowly and above all do not invest any deeper feelings into it until you have actually met this person IRL (I don't know if you have or not) and are clear about his feelings towards you. LDRs are 90% fantasy, and only 10% reality. You cannot know how you really feel until you have at least spent some time with someone in person. Even then it isn't so easy or quick to figure it out. Slow down, guard your feelings and let time reveal the right response to his behavior.
