Lucid dream is an altered state of consciousness (like trance, hypnosis, or a normal dream) where you are aware that you are in an altered state. You realize that you can take conscious control of events, you can stop things or make things disappear, and conversely, you can create and make things appear.

If you time it right or use one of the more recently developed induction techniques you can have a LD in your REM cycle, which will make it seem and feel more vivid and realistic than your waking life. No exaggeration.

If this is something you have heard of or find intriguing, what would you do in a lucid dream? My favorites are:

Flying, breathing underwater, teleportation, exploring the world on land and underwater, also the Moon, the solar system and other planets and galaxies either by flying there or using a stargate. Fly into the sun or a black hole. Conjuration, creating things, like spawning an island or a city, tell the people they are in a dream and they are not real and see how they react, fight in battles as a ninja or samurai, turn into a fighter jet and be in a dogfight, turn into other things like animals, like an eagle, horse, dragon, or even a rock or a river and see what that feels like. Talk to animals. Ride things, like a dragon, then jump off without a parachute and skydive. Swim with dolphins. Grow into a giant. Or shrink in size and explore the microscopic world. Become invisible. Other superpowers. Turn into a girl. Jump into a PC game, movie or book and become a character in the story and watch it unfold around me. Have adult fun with no limits.

More exotic stuff, like 360-vision, or freezing time. Time-travel to earlier eras of human history, the middle ages, Atlantis, or the dawn of humanity, the age of dinosaurs, or the future. Visit myself in the past, or in a past life. Visit deceased relatives. Meet my spirit guide or dream guide or my subconscious and ask questions or visit the Akashic Library. Become God. Create a new universe.

Just a FYI I am both unmarried and don’t have kids. I actually want both but I have just never found the right person for that. There was one person I met years ago who could of been that person but it didn’t work out. She happened to meet me at a specific period in my life which was the wrong time.

Anyway get how becoming a parent can radically change your life. I have nieces and nephews and I observed how my brother went from a carefree assholish “bro dude” to a hard working responsible adult very quickly. He tells me that although he sometimes misses his bachelorhood that overall being a dad and getting married really is the best for him. Also he wasn’t serious about his career/education but he actually completed college a few years after his daughter was born. Him and his wife actually make a decent income with their combined salary.

My sister has become a mother too. She works in education and surrounded by lots of leftist unmarried women. Yes her and her husband are overall very happy they have become parents.

Anyway I don’t want to pot calling the kettle black given my bachelorhood/fatherhood student. However I could settle down with the right person. But if I don’t find her I’m also at peace with that possibility.

But seriously does being unmarried and lifelong childless seriously appeal to many people? Maybe it does in your 20s. But a part of me regrets not settling down with someone earlier.

I very rarely get matches. After 3 weeks on hinge I got 0 matches. After 3 weeks on Hily I got 12 matches but only one replied but is always too "busy" to talk to me and she lives in a foreign country. On Bumble I got about 5 matches in a month and only 2 messaged me, both only wanted friendship. On Badoo I got 10 matches, only 4replied, 2 were from a foreign country and one was only there to sell nudes and the other only replied once then ghosted. On average I get maybe 1-3 matches a week on any dating app but 0 replies. This pattern persists regardless if it's a casual app like Tinder or a more serious app like POF or OKCupid. I always introduce myself by saying something relevant to their profile. (ie: Woah you're in Korea in that pic? Awesome I lived there for a year myself! What year did you visit?) Alas my messages are always left on read or unread. On the rare occasions that I do receive a reply it's the first and the last or the girl turns out to be a content seller. On even rarer occasions she reveals to me that she's only looking for friends and that I seemed nice. Then she follows up by telling me how great I am and how I'll easily find someone great. Spoiler alert... I never do. I can count on one hand how many actual dates I've gotten and only one ever became a relationship. This pattern is the same when I meet people in person as well.

I know we live in a cynical world right now with this dystopia of Joe Biden, wokeness, the Chinese Communist Party, and Resident Evil on Netflix right now. I know, I know... But if magic was real and could grant you your most compatible partner currently existing in this world right now; your soulmate of soulmates; would you take it?

I know a lot of people (mainly men, and rightfully so) have grown cynical and jaded of the idea of love and have stopped believing it exists. (Hell, I mostly have, too.) But again, a magical scenario here. You get a chance to get your soulmate in this world; someone currently existing who who matches most of what you want physically in a person and most of what you want personality wise. Probably won't be 100% perfect because they're a currently existing person in the real world. But they'll be close to what you've always wanted, but could never meet before due to limiting circumstances and a lack of communication to know each other's existence.

I still believe in the idea, even if it's only a fantasy like this. My new perfect partner would be 6'2" to 6'4", between 25 and 33, would have long dark hair, a full voluptuous figure, and huge breasts and booty.
