I had a meeting with a university that wanted to know more about my startup, and they asked for a corporate website which I didn't have because I'm still seed stage and pre-revenue. I did consider setting up a corporate website before, but was too lazy since they're usually either blogs or e-commerce platforms. But now I guess I'm incenitivized to have one for legitimacy and to redirect third parties, so I don't need to keep explaining what my startup does or at least will intend to do.

I do recall having a WordPress account and a personal blog, and I think out of laziness and convenience I can just go for that or maybe consider Shopify. For WordPress, I can start out with a free domain and then later upgrade to paid and let them host it. I ain't gonna code a corporate website from scratch because it's less labour intensive to build a blog with no-code solutions, whereas for e-commerce too complex to build myself when Shopify is a thing. I just don't wanna keep on paying a monthly nor yearly fee just to keep the rights to the domain right now.

I will say I voted for Trump these past 3 elections. He may have not served the second election, and while many speculate it was because the left cheated, I would not be surprised but I don't know what information to believe anymore.

That is one very significant thing I need to emphasize: I don't know what sources to believe, which ones are conspiracy theories, and which ones are actually genuinely true. There is so much misinformation, I don't know exactly what to believe anymore regarding our government and politics. I just know there is a shit ton of corruption, greed, and passiveness at many turns.

I will say, on a positive note, I am happy Trump tackled this whole woke, "politically correct", social engineering issue head on and restored some common sense. This leftist PC propaganda was a cancer, and I honestly feel it was a main factor why our nation was heading down the tube. While the Trump administration has destroyed that cancer in multiple facets, sadly it is still running rampant on media.

I am also happy Trump addressed the border and illegal immigration crisis promptly, swiftly, and with full-on force.

Here is where I am losing my support with Trump: the cost of living, inflation, and opportunity for everyday, middle-class and working-class Americans and younger generations alike. I feel many of them are being butchered right now. This was the main "selling-point" for Trump during his first term. At some point he must take ownership as everyday Americans continue to struggle and scrape at the bottom of the barrel just to feed themselves, their children, and their pets.

Trump's solution of a 50-year mortgage sounds like a shit idea. Does this mean for younger generations to afford homes, the solution is to be enslaved to debt longer with more interest in the end? I also feel Trump is failing to address the soaring prices on basic essentials like food.

If the House does get a 2/3 majority will the Senate also be able to get 67 out of 100 votes for a veto proof majority? The Dems have 48 so they would need 19 defectors and just as an FYI there are 20 MAGA senators who are up for reelection in 2026 exactly one year from now.

I feel the need to create this question because I made the mistake of defending my wife's choice to be a home maker and housewife on a woman's forum.. And now not only am I getting hate from that, people are messaging her demanding she divorce me.. My wife finds it funny, and just blocks them, but I really feel the need to ask, is it really the same as slavery?

I've never, not once ordered her around, never told her what she can and cannot do, never controlled anything she does, and her choose to be a housewife was hers alone. So why do these women say it's slavery?
