Long story short, my ex didn't believe our daughter is his, dna test came back and proved it. We were still being respectful to each other during the whole time but barely talked since he didn't want to get involved until a dna test.

Now he wants to be involved which I appreciate for our daughter.

At 7 months pregnant I moved back home (from us to Europe) to support my daughter and make the best life possible for her having no support from him. I informed him about everything.

Its been almost 2 years since we broke up , saw each other and maybe talked like 5 or 6 times... until recently when the dna came back.

He wants to come out here and spend time with his daughter which I am actually happy that her father wants to be involved. We live in a one bedroom apartment and he wants to stay with us. I told him I would like him to get a Hotel room. we had barely any contact for 2 years I just dont feel comfortable with him staying here. He can spend as much time as he wants over here but I would appreciate him not to permanently stay and have a room to get back to. We never lived together and I just kinda like having our own little place for my daughter and I.

He got all mad at me saying he is already spending a lot on plane tickets and he can't afford a hotel as well. He says I would be keeping him from his daughter as he already lost so much time. I dont want to stand between them but dont want to compromise our safe space for a man I haven't seen in 2 years.

I'm in a loving relationship. No friends unless you're sister counts and person you barely text counts. I have a part time job that gives me like 8 to 12 hours a week. No pets and in a two bedroom apartment.

My boyfriend loves doing his projects they take up all his time and I'm glad that he has something he loves to do. I do as well. I love video games, art, watching shows, listening to books and crocheting. But I never feel like I get enough attention from him. Even if we spend the whole weekend together and he doesn't do his projects. Like I get all of his attention.

But somehow I just feel like anytime I spend with him, isn't enough even if we spent the 24/7 together. I know I shouldn't feel this way. But I don't know how to not feel this way. I keep myself as busy as possible. But nothing is ever enough. How can I feel like it's enough?

I have tried to make friends but it's so hard to do and then I feel like all the friends I have ever had just leave me. Should we get a pet so I can focus on something else besides him? Or just deal with it? Or do something else that will make it feel like enough?

Please help. I cannot afford a therapist so I come to you guys.

I've read this infidelity story before. I'll refer the names as Jane and Tom.

Jane was 19 and Tom was 20 at the time. They've been dating for 8 months or so when she got caught cheating. She cheated with Tom's good friend. Both got caught falling alseep in Tom's house, on his couch in a compromised position with the TV still running, an empty bottle of rum and empty snack bags. They had already finished the deed when Tom arrived. His friend was only in boxers and she dressed up with jeans but only had bra. Alcohol was involved and the cheating went on for nearly 3 months.

Tom somehow forgives that, reconciles and still marries her 5 years later. Jane changed for the better though, by her own admission never cheated again. Then 15 years into their marriage (and 20 years since her cheating took place) and with 3 kids, Tom begins coming home drunk and cheats for other reasons; midlife crisis. Tom briefly fell in love with the other woman, stole some of his wife's money to spend it on his affair, secretly gave his wife's meals to the other woman and was thinking about setting up a trip to France just to be with her for a bit, away from responsiblities, away from the kids, out of reality. Their ages by then are 39 and 40.
