I got into drinking a few months ago, and on Monday, I drank rum, 6 bottles of beer, and about 1/5 of a one liter bottle of vodka.
After that, I spilled the vodka, at least that's what i think happened. Between Monday and Tuesday, I finished the one liter bottle of rum. This was because the giddy feeling I get when drunk still hadn't come to me, so I kept drinking.
I threw up 6 times and I don't remember a thing from Tuesday. But I wasn't unconscious for all of Tuesday, as evidenced by the broken towel rack in my bathroom, I must've grabbed it for balance and it came out of the wall.
I kept waking up because my head hurt, this went on for an undetermined amount of time. Eventually, my head stopped hurting, but my pain had only just begun. My body felt sore and weak, and I was still drowsy.
I was lethargic and I was very observant of all items around me, a common behavior I have when intoxicated. I kept trying to sleep, hoping that I'd wake up feeling just fine, but I could never get to sleep and knew that even if by some miracle, I got to sleep, I wouldn't stay asleep for long as the pain would've woken me back up.
Time went by so slowly, each second felt like an eternity, but I knew all I could do is wait for my body to repair itself from the damage I caused with my drinking. I spent seemingly hours trying to make myself comfortable so I can sleep, but it all came to nothing.
After seemingly half the day was gone, I somehow managed to sleep for an hour, when I woke up, I was a little less sore, but now my head was rushing. I had drank three bottles of water, but they were gone and I knew I couldn't get more as I could barely stand, let alone walk up and down the stairs.
I managed to periodically sleep last night, and I believe I'm now in the stages of withdrawal, a new feeling to me. I read online that rum produces the third most severe hangover reactions, but it's hard for me to imagine a more severe hangover than this one. What's your worst?

1. I couldn't keep anything in me the day after. Usually it helps to get something like toast, or a China box something, but whatever I got, it went back up. I was just miserable.
2. This happened maybe 3 yeas ago or something. Was out partying with some friends. Nothing too crazy, but I am weak when it comes to alcohol, my stomach gets weird or it hurts with certain beverages. I tried beer that night, hoping it would be easier. It wasn't. I slept at my friend's apartment with her, because she lives close to the city. (A 5 minute walk, and I live like 15-20 minutes away on bike) so after alcohol I preferred to sleep over.
In the middle of the night I woke up cause I had to throw up, and I rushed out of her bedroom, and immediately fell down at the door, cause she has a step down to the entrance. So I fell, something hurt and I had barf in my mouth. (Cause you know, I'm still polite, didn't want to make a mess of her entrance). So I crawled to her toilet, figuring my ankle was severely hurt. And while I threw up in her toilet... I shat my underpants. I tried to clean it up. And while I was in the bathroom, I tried to wake up my friend, but I didn't come in contact with her at all.
And the ot happened again. This was definitely not my proudest moment in my life at all. I tried my best to clean everything after I have figured I was in a safe spot, stomach wise. My ankle was swelling and hurting. And I borrowed my friends shower, drying myself with the night tshirt I had borrowed to sleep in.
I gathered my things, took on my clothes from the night out, ruined panties in my bag.
Then I woke up my friend, told her I was heading home cause I think I sprained my ankle and wasn't feeling well. Rode my bike home, using mainly just one foot. And then got home, threw up again. Showered properly. And. Could hardly sleep I felt horrible. Tried to keep my leg up and give it some ice.
Worst. Hangover. Ever.
My friend still doesn't know I shat on her floor. She knows the rest though. Considering only telling her if she ever moves out and we're having a glass of wine several years later 😅
(The day after I called my mom to tell her, and by the end of it I could hear my grandma.. she had set the call to speaker from the beginning without me knowing.)
when i was 18 i got drunk on a whole bottle of red wine and basically had a fever, strong headaches and nausea for 2 days straight. took another day or two to be totally normal again. i'm scared of red wine now
I once drank 38 tequila shots in a bar after already drinking an entire 750ml bottle of whiskey.
The bar had the dangerous offer that anyone who sets a new record on maximum tequila shots consumed would not have to pay for their drinks. The former record was 12. I quickly beat the record ordering my 13th and kept going while everyone including the bartender cheered me on. So I started ordering 3 shots at a time. Shot-shot-shot, bam, next. The bartender said, "You are the god of drinking!"
Then on my last set, I did 37th shot, 38th shot, then suddenly I got the urge to hurl so bad that I covered my mouth but sprayed vomit all over the place. Then I tried to get out of my chair and my legs collapsed under my feet and face-planted the floor. 😂
After the customers helped me into a taxi and I crawled my way back home, vomited in the toilet more, and passed out on the toilet. It was Friday night. Then I woke up and it was night time, so I thought I had slept a whopping 24 hours and it was Saturday night until I noticed my digital clock. It was Monday night. I had been passed out almost 72 hours on the toilet bowl. I looked in the mirror and there was a purple imprint of the shape of the toilet bowl on my head.
I felt like I was about to die so I hobbled over to the fridge and started chugging water but I couldn't swallow it. I kept vomiting it out and something was terribly wrong with my throat. It felt very swollen and almost like it was blocking the water from going down. So I tried to rest and get what little water down I could hold down and then started making my way towards the clinic.
The doctor diagnosed me and said I developed uvulitis from severe dehydration. He told me he never personally heard of cases this bad except people who nearly died of dehydration in a desert.
After that I couldn't eat solid food for almost 6 weeks. It wasn't a very good time! 😂
This was back in my early 20s and I never drank in such a suicidal way after that ever again although hangovers remained a common occurrence here and there as a binge drinker. Back then I was really into extreme sports which kind of involves testing and pushing our physical limits, but that manifested in a more dangerous and unhealthy way when I tried that with alcohol.
I just recently quit alcohol entirely. 3 months clean so far.
I've sort of just stopped having hangovers. I just drink until I can sleep and wake up early like I'm doing right now. Last night it was a bottle of vodka mixed with water, I calculated it to be 9.2% and eventually I puked... then started drinking beer and took 3 Benadryl capsules. I just kept drinking until I was sleepy and fucked off to bed.
I didn't eat much and what I did eat made me puke it out. Now I'm a step closer to losing weight... a man who pursues his goals.
What is there to care about when I have it this good?
Sounds like you had alcohol poisoning. You should’ve actually gone to hospital to have your stomach pumped. You have probably damaged your liver a little bit. I would consider not drinking alcohol for at least 3 weeks.
Remember, if you are going to drink, always do so responsibly.
1st year at college. Went to my first college party. I don't remember how many cups of jungle juice I had. But I remember waking up the next morning feeling like my head ready to explode, had to throw up, nasty poops, and took 4 advil just to get started.
On different occasions, I've been laid out by both covid and the flu. Neither compare to the misery I felt with my worst hangovers. I wished I was dead. Fortunately, we recover.
People say there's no cure for a hangover. I think that's true, but I've discovered that orgasms help more than anything. I'm serious. Try it.
We were dead for a few days after this party. I don't remember what and how much I drank that night, but it was enough to make me vomit for two days and suffer terrible headaches for over a week.
I woke up one morning after a long night of drinking and I had a splitting headache, bloodshot eyes, and I felt like i was going to puke. I pushed it all aside and got dressed and went to work. I was really suffering but I just kept working. Before lunch I went to the bathroom and suddenly I had the uncontrollable urge to puke. I could not ignore it anymore do I puked in the toilet. I felt better afterwards.

I never understood the fascination with this. What a miserable way to pass the time. Like a few drinks to socialize, sure, but throwing up and passing out? I have more important things to do with my time

Well, I don't. I work and drink, that's about it, I'm only happy when I'm drunk
Grade 10 NYE which was my first time really drinking. Now I don’t go past a buzz unless I’m chilling with a girl at home. Even then I really limit how much I drink.
