My kind of boyfriend came pick me up from a class yesterday and as we went to my house, i was joking that last time I saw him his farts were too stinky when I went to bed. It was true but I said it jokingly because, when you love someone, that stuff is silly and very much managable.

He then said he was gonna buy potato chips and come back. He didn't come back. He went home or god knows where. I tried to message and call him but he would not answer. I got very worried thinking something might happen to him. Next morning he texted me saying that he was gassy and didn't want me to complain about it.

WHAT THE F? please tell me if you think i was rude chatting about his farts or if he needs to get a grip. i just wish he told me the reason instead of keeping me on the edge for hours...

tbf he has been acting weird lately and i think he just doesn't like me like he used to. this is very odd behaviour from him

I'm going to start by saying that either parent can be any kind of parent. From stay at home to having absolutely nothing to do with their child (ren).

Everyone's circumstances are INCREDIBLY different & unique. I'm on leave taking care of my newborn & have mixed feelings about leaving him to go back to work, but I still have time before I have to go back. My boyfriend is very involved when he's home, although even then I still take on the brunt of the child rearing because he's still nervous & not sure of himself with our baby. His friend & his baby momma on the other hand... His friend doesn't have any involvement with the child, he claims to only have gotten his baby momma pregnant because "if it wasn't this b*tech, it would've someone else I spread my seed to," & the mom still retains her parental rights, even though she gave up her child to her mother (child's grandmother) & should absolutely sign away her parental rights to grandma so that the child can be enrolled in school, since mom refuses to do anything for her child. Won't even let the child call her "mom". So, where do you fall on the spectrum?

STORY TIME:
Names: accuser=Jeff, partner=Amy, best friend= Eric (and for the purpose of this story, another friend=Erika) (others were there but were not involved)
Everyone is at a house hanging out, drinking, smoking and playing games, just having a great time. When it is Eric’s turn Amy taps him on the knee to get his attention, (because Eric NEVER pays attention and you have to YELL at him when it’s his turn.) Jeff sees this and gets angry but keeps it to himself. A bit later Amy and Erika go against each other on a game. Erika beats Amy at this game. On into the night Amy becomes annoyed with Eric taking forever and several others not paying attention. Erika sends Amy a text saying she is sorry, because Erika thinks Amy is annoyed that she beat her. Amy reads the text, smiles and says Erika I love you, in a friendly, silly kind of way because of why Erika sent the text. Jeff hears this and assumes that Amy said I love you to annoying Eric, which was not true. Again he seems angry but keeps it to himself. After everyone leaves for the night Jeff starts yelling at Amy and accusing her of telling Eric that she loved him and confronted her about her touching his knee. Amy denied saying it but Jeff didn’t believe her and kept yelling. The next morning Jeff is still angry and continues the accusation. To which Amy still denies. Amy screenshots the text from Erika and explains why and to whom she said I love you too. Jeff had no words and leaves. Jeff comes back later and apologizes and tries giving Amy a kiss and she denies him. And now Jeff is upset and sleeping on the couch. (As I last heard) who has the right to be upset? Jeff or Amy? How would you handle it? Don’t be cruel, looking for advice to give.
