so there's this weird tension between my flat mate and me. Sometime he'll make comments like 'I'll try not to act like your boyfriend' if I tell him about a guy at the park we're going to, or that he will pretend he is for my 'benefit' i. e. to get me out of awkward situations with guys that come over
he also calls me cute a lot, like when I try to speak his mother language or tell him how shy I get with guys
and like if we hang out with his friends he'll be getting super close to me, rolling his cigarette on my legs or just like getting really close to my face
last night he had a girl come over and they were both pretty drunk but he was the whole time talking to me and then coming to my room to show me stuff he was happy about, and then when he was going to bed he like came to my door to whisper goodnight, which he never does so wtf
I clearly like him back otherwise wouldn't be here asking
