Personally I think there's no harm in letting the kids imagination go, I'm going to let the belief of Santa etc go for as long as possible. I remember my own memories and they were quite magical with the belief of Santa and my parents did it in quite a way that Santa can't make you huge electronic things like games or consoles, so you're expecting something cool and wonderful from Santa but not super expensive.

As for Disney I say while watching the movies that that character isn't real, but her seeing minni mouse was the sweetest thing I'll ever see. She was only 3 and they told us it'll be over a two hour wait, we had a roof but it wasn't indoors and I let her make the decision she told me she'll wait. Well despite it being about 8°C and raining, we sat down on some cardboard and waited no phones just chatting and cuddling cause it was cold. And she was the most patient girl ever and when she saw minni and daisy her eyes lit right up and she had a little dance with the both of them, ran up to minni when it was her turn and didn't let go for a couple of minutes and it was amazing to watch, I don't think I'll ever forget it.

The story has 4 of the mothers including me and our lovely birthday girl who's turning 16 and 4 more 16yo girls, and
3 more boys (around same age of 15-16) (including my 15yo son)
The story and everything is ready just that we need to decide which character makes the murder victim list (we can have either one or 2 dead characters)
P. S. Me (hostess) and the other moms have decided we won't be dying and neither is our lovely b'day girl LOL.
Props available - two prop knives & the other one's just an extra poison prop (yes you heard it right they are really thorough.. poison prop is basically whitish blue makeup near your mouth)

The behaviors in question:

- at a seated dinner, after the first course when people get up to help in the kitchen, the boy steals the place of someone else to go sit next to the girl and stays there for the rest of the dinner.
- the boy acts very kindly towards the girl, for example he opens the cars door for her (and not for other girls in the group)
-you overhear the boy telling the girl he’d like to hang out

- the girl acts differently around him, when he talks to her she’s like she has ears for no one else. At the same time, she seems to avoid him and always waits that he makes the first step to go talk to her

- when the boy talks to her, the girl answers with a very sweet and soothing voice, that she doesn’t seem to use with other people
