See here's the deal when you seek serious committed relationships, you have to comit not only to yourself, but to the other person. That means you have to be willing to accept change in your life, because that is what relationships do... they bring change.

Are you willing to accommodate for change, or do you really just want some one to just show up in your life and fall into place with out missing a step? Because that rarely happens.

The 5 Stages of a Relationship.

1.) The Romance Stage. This is when you have these feelings for the other person and believe they will last for ever.

2.) The Cooling Off Stage. This when you start to come back to earth and consider if there are things that you may of over looked.

3.) Reality Hits Stage. This is when you open your eyes for the first time and are confronted with reality. That if you want to be with this person, what changes are required to be made and are you willing to make them?

4.) Denial Stage. You either start to deny that change is upon you and you refuse to do it. You could refuse to accept that this person is who you thought they would or could be. Their flaws suddenly seem so apparent even when they have been there all a long.

5.) Acceptance Stage. You accept change and fully comit or accept the inevitably of the situation, cut and run.

Now they. say not every relationship goes through all 5 stages, some skip stages and they don't always happen in the same order. Some go through additional stages, but in general no matter what you call them these 5 usually slide into the mix in most case in some way.

This didn't just start.. some schools all over the U. S. have been bringing it back for ages. Found an article from 2006 about it in the NYT: Anthony Price, the principal of Everman Middle School in Texas, reinstated corporal punishment last year. “It’s had a huge effect,” he said.

Of course those of you who think it's good to put emotions first and that weakness and being comfortable is how you build a society won't get it.

After decades of trying the softer approach to dealing with kids, more government schools are starting to try the old tried & smack them till they conform or leave. I approve. As much as some of you whiners want to claim that getting smacked for violating school rules is the same as when your drunk parents smacked you in anger when you'd done zero wrong to make themselves feel better, it's not the same. We've been soft for too long. Too many kids with zero self-control grow into adults who think it's right to steal/kill others for their own pleasure. In the old days, 1.) Most kids behaved without even having to get smacked at school, 2.) the kids who did get smacked either learned to be better or they got expelled. Either way you ended up with a school that had fewer bad apples which is better for the good ones.

Next step needs to be bringing back the ability to expel bad apples and not help them in any way. Also hold parents accountable for their kid's actions in the world. If the parent doesn't like it they should send their kid to a boot camp or orphanage. Maybe some of these parents need a good whack too. Ha ha ha ha.
