Long story short, my life's dream is to travel the world. So now that I finally have a chance to do so for work, you can imagine that I'm pretty stoked and willing to jump on that opportunity. My husband isn't excited at all, and even though he knew that I've always wanted to go overseas, he's being a total Debbie downer about the whole thing. He wants stability, I want adventure.

BUT HERE'S THE THING: I've already done and sacrificed so much for him. He currently lives the life he wants only because I made it possible. I hate to sound like a conceited bitch, but it's true. So I feel like I'm totally within my rights to ask this of him, especially since I made it well known to him before our marriage. In fact, the reason we got married in the first place is so if one of us got moved the other could always come with.

I really really want my husband to be happy but it's come to a point where I haven't done enough for myself and I'm having trouble with depression because of it.

So, should I back down for my husband's sake or keep trying to fulfill my dreams?

i am attending a culinary school. one of my classmate (he's in internship now) told everyone (including my chef and his wife) that I've had sex with him. of course its not true. i am in a serious relationship and everyone here know about it.

looking back to the story i think he said that because i kept on rejecting him when he flirts with me, i kept on telling him i have a boyfriend and that i love my boyfriend so much. Plus, on the other hand this guy is really nothing compared to my boyfriend. first, he's not good looking. second, personality wise, he isn't someone i would want to be with. third, we're from a totally different economical background (very important to me to find someone who is on the same social background as my family).

tbh I don't know how to deal with this situation cause it is very embarrassing for me. should i confront him the next time i see him or let it go? who do you think he's making these rumours?
