Black male's experience in college

" Back in college I’ve seen the sexiest Asians just throw themselves heavily at white guys. It was a surreal experience to say the least. I thought I had some sort of favoritism being an exotic, good looking black guy.

I never dated at all in high school, so had no idea what to expect in freshmen year, but I remember the first girls I ever talked to were Asian & they wanted nothing to do with me. I had a white girl that I befriended and at my first big social circle, she was my wing women & everything she told me to say seemed really good. I had no idea how to interact with women myself but the Asian girls still seemed just… indifferent, like they had no reaction to me & it wasn’t fun. Everyone else I encountered freshmen year was extremely social & fun to talk to.

It was probably because they knew I was talking to them with romantic intent & didn’t want to lead me on or had no interest. Then I asked a close white friend and he told me that Asian girls don’t like black guys, they are obsessed with whites, don’t take it personally. Some time later next semester, I got semi close to an Asian girl whose a friend of my best friend.

When we all hung out, she talks about the little things her boyfriend does that she doesn’t like but she gets very gushing about him anyway. Fast forward to sophomore second semester we were all hanging out in the student game room… she reads her phone text & begins crying & runs to the bathroom. My friend and I share a concerned face. Never knew what happened but I thought that this boyfriend must be a real catch. Until I saw his pictures and he was a very chubby, very average or a bit below average white guy. This girl was a 5ft Asian girl with perfect features everywhere, and had a very bubbly, love-able personality. Fast forward 2 years later, they break up. It’s revealed the dude she gave so much love to saw her as a fetish to release all his desires upon."

I keep seeing post after post here of women complaining about men using coffee dates as 'interviews' before the real first date with all the bells and whistles. Why?

An after-work, weekday cup of coffee that only lasts a half hour or so is the perfect way to have a lowkey meetup where both people can ask each other the basic questions and gauge each other in a calm place is a great way to know if you want to really make the effort to spend crazy money and spend all night running around a city with someone.

I'd really like to know why women are so much more bothered by this than men.

What I am getting at here is how do you imagine your future wife or husband, do you want them to be just like you or completely opposite from you?

Here is an example let say you are a black American man who is a democrat, you want to have a family and you imagine becoming a chemical engineer. Would you prefer to date a woman/man who is also democrats, they are also black American and want to start a family and their career choice is an chemical engineer as well or you not interested in dating or marrying a person who resemble you.

While this is the opposite answer, you are a black American male who is of course a democrat, his main career goals are becoming a chemical engineer. You want to have your very own family but here is the thing your partner is rationally different from you. You prefer to have a partner who is a republican, he/she is a different race from your own, they might not been interested in starting a family but you look pass it but the main thing is they worked in a different profession like a college professor. Would you rather have a person who is opposite from you or you couldn't live like that and you want to have someone who shares your ideas, culture, race, political views, and of course have the exact same job as you!

I actually really love the idea of opposite attract to me personally, I kinda wouldn't be interested in dating a literal female version of myself, so I definitely would want to choose a girl who is rationally different from my ideas and views. But what about you men and women, want a partner who is exactly similar to you or you want a partner who is completely different from you? Remember there ain't no right or wrong answer!
