I see a lot of people still debating if whether or not the cutoff year for Gen X should be 1979 or 1981, or if the cutoff year for Millennials should be 1995, 1997 or 2000. You also see whiny older people complaining about "Millennials" and tide pod challenges when they're clearly confusing Millennials with Zoomers.

I was born in 1995 and I honestly don't know if that classifies me as "Millennial" or "Zoomer". Either way, I honestly don't give a shit because I dislike people (of all Generations) in general anyway.

Generational Wars is nothing more than a typical American 1st world problem because Americans of all currently living Generations (from Silent Gen to Zoomers) are so self unaware of how easy they have it in America that they manufacture problems to kill their own boredom due to lack of real hardship while very poor 3rd world countries with people of all Generations have actual real world problems to worry about and not waste time on stupid crap like Generational labels and wars.

I have heard people say they don't understand why Covid became political. The reason is that politicians had to pass laws to grapple with the pandemic, but what kind of laws? That is debatable. For example, I live Los Angeles, California, USA. The politicians in my city passed laws closing beaches and fining those who broke it. Other cities (for whatever reason) didn't pass these laws closing beaches (even left-wing cities). Some people disagreed with this law in Los Angeles. In order to voice their opinion, they had to contact politicians. And at some point, the politicians had to decide when to rescind this law. This is true of other government responses. Different cities, states and countries reacted differently (including left-wing ones). That is ultimately up to the politicians. That is why Covid became political.
