I would be suspicious too.
But disagree that they would have/should have found someone already. Dating is about way more than the exterior. In fact, the fact that so many people choose to be with someone who they think is hot is probably why so many relationships end so quickly. Hot isn't compatibility on any level that really matters. You need attraction on all levels, and that means emotional, intellectual, etc. as well.

If they have a photo in their post/listing/whatever- get a copy of that pic file on your computer/phone. Then, get the "TinEye" app- it's a reverse picture search engine. Then, just drag the pic file into the "search" box, and a few seconds later, the app comes up with any/all of the hits it finds. A HIT means it's been used before and dates it was used will be shown. That typically means someone is faking things. If there is NOTHING FOUND, then at least you know the picture has a better chance of being "real".

Not necessarily because other factors are involved and not solely on looks (example guys that don't approach them because they assume they aren't single, or just don't approach period etc). What's more likely (online) I think is that they are FAKE accounts/pics, or people just assume they are.

Not just dating apps it’s any social media sites where you make friends or chat apps always be suspicious lol I normally am. I Need like 3 lots of proof check if it normal person lol. Never be too careful

No, it's understandable.
Scammers and solicitors tend to use models picture, and steal pictures of very attractive people. But it's usually pretty easy to tell when they are scams or not. Usually if the images are of not around where they are supposed to be it's most likely fake profile. If the images are reverse searchable, definitely a scam profile. If they redirect you it's a red flag

It's true that many attractive people make successful matches in their 20's, but not all.

I disagree. The best people are likely to be single for an extended period of time, even years because if they try to get a good quality partner near their level it will take a long time to find another high quality person.

I don't use any app so no. But I don't go to any public places either. It's difficult to think I'd find a match when you're in a country speaking a language different than at home and living in a very conservative community. Like the closest bar is literally 100km away.

Most of the profiles on the dating apps are fake. Most of them are hookers, prostitutes, scammers asking for money transfer, iPhone, cash cards. Don't trust all profiles on dating apps.
