Is this shy guy shocked or not interested?

I met this guy who owns a business and from the first encounter I could tell he was super intrigued by me. This was about 6-7 months ago. I assumed he was just a married man who was a bit attracted. Forgot all about him.

About a month ago, I came to his shop for a charger. He sort of froze when he saw me. He was friendly and took his time to make sure I got the right product. I sensed something was up.

The next time I went back, he nearly jumped out of his chair to serve me. He also gave me a SIM card slot opener because I didn't have one.

I went back again to replace my screen protector and see if he could help me with my SIM tray issue.

He was taking his sweet time changing my screen. Then a bunch of people came to the shop and he had to help them. He apologized for keeping me waiting. It was obvious, he was delaying me on purpose.

We got talking about some current affairs and were debating a bit since I disagreed with him slightly.

I was fiddling with my SIM tray and I caught him staring all zoned out at me.
He asked about my kids and I asked him if he had any. He then nervously confessed he had never been married, has no kids and is having trouble finding a wife. Then asked me if I had any friends. I said I only know me who is divorced. Then he started asking why we split, etc.
Then he said again if I could help him find a wife. I asked him what is the criteria? So he's gazing in my eyes and describing me as the criteria. Then he says he wants a woman of average beauty. So I said what's wrong with beautiful women? Too much work? He laughed. (I think he said it on purpose to see my reaction). This was Tuesday.

Today I went back and confessed to him I like him and am interested in exploring marriage. (We're Muslims this isn't a weird thing to start off with.) He kinda froze, went to help a customer. Came back and was smiling and looking down. He had trouble making eye contact all of sudden. He said yes but he had to think.

Brush off or just shocked?
