Someone brought up this old-ass Would You Rather question I asked in the past. So I'll ask it again on GAG. Yes, this question is probably "un PC" in today's age of pus sies and cowards, but who cares?

Option A. Six white suburbanite 14 year old girls, all between 4'9" and 5'0" tall and roughly 80 to 100 pounds. They've never been in a fight in their lives, but they play girls' lacrosse. They're all super-pissed at you and will try to kill you. They are armed with plastic lacrosse sticks. If you are also female and under 5'9"/175 cm, you get a choice of a leather baton or Billy club as a weapon. Otherwise, you are unarmed. You have to incapacitate all of them (non-lethally, of course!) in order to win.

Option B. One 6'9" (205 cm), 350 pound (160 kg) adult woman named Aly. She's from Queens, New York. She has one month of fighting experience from a personal trainer, but only with average-sized females. She will be very angry at you, thinking you assaulted her parents or something. If you are also female or under six feet tall, you get a pair of cheap Made-in-China brass knuckles as a weapon. Otherwise, you are unarmed. You have to incapacitate her in order to win.

MAKE YOUR PICK! WHICH ONE WOULD YOU TAKE YOUR CHANCES WITH?

I just brought up this point in another post.

I said how the outrage from Disney's super-sh*tty-looking "'remake'" of The Little Mermaid comes from all the implications of "white people and Danish culture" being "problematic" and that "black people are superior to whites."

And the fact that they are calling this woke abortion "The Little Mermaid" even though it will not follow the same story and the lead character will not have a love interest or any positive feelings towards a man (cause women liking men, is also "problematic and sexist" and junk.)

My point is, they race-swapped a beloved Disney character, implied that white people are "bad," and are going to change the entire story around and not even have it be a love story anymore. Yet are calling it "The Little Mermaid."

IF THIS WAS A WHOLLY ORIGINAL STORY NOT LINKED TO THE DANISH FAIRY TALE AND WAS NAMED 'CIARA OF THE SEA,' DO YOU THINK PEOPLE WOULD STILL BE ANGRY AT THIS MOVIE?

I don't think they would. Which also means, it's not race that's the issue here.

What I originally said:
"You can't get 'acceptance and tolerance for other races' by destroying other races/culture in the process or implying other races are inferior and we need to 'fix the wrongs of the past' by blackwashing and race-swapping established beloved characters for no good reason.

It's not even the race-swap that's the issue. It's the fact this is another sh*tty remake of a Disney movie no one wanted, and this time, they're not even going to bother to properly remake it. If it's not even a remake, it completely defeats the purpose of even calling it 'The Little Mermaid.' If this was called 'Ciara of the Sea' or something, there would be no outrage at all. No one would go see it cause EVERYTHING from Disney sucks nowadays. But there'd be no outrage and you wouldn't have to knock down another character in order to prop up a black female one."
