Like not your general national accent but regional. It happens to me all the time like I spoke to a policeman before in a city 3 hours from home and I said 5 words, 5 words, and he knows which city I called home. I also work for a disability charity on the payment lines and every couple of months someone guesses my hometown - once I had to listen to a lovely story of this guy, assuming everyone in my city has fished in the river and gutted them and ate them for supper, he was quite sad to hear I've never done it.
