this guy I work with and he has stared at me on more then one occasion the first time was when I walked by him at work in the halls and he stared at me for at least 3 seconds or more and wouldn’t look away.. then the second time was when I was asking him a question and he just stared at my face for a few seconds and I felt awkward cuz I had to keep repeating myself like two or three times lol.. then there was a meeting I had with the managers yesterday and he was there… they were telling me how I wasn’t doing too good and are switching my position next week… after I’m getting ready to leave I glanced and looked back at him once more and he smiled at me and said “thank u Gilda” but thanks for what? Lol and then after I left I had to go back cuz I had forgotten my hat and after I grabbed my stuff I’m like “sorry forgot my stuff” and he just smiled and giggled at me… then later that day I saw him and smiled big showing my teeth and he smiled big right back and showed his teeth!! First time I saw him that happy. Truly looked like he was glad to see me but then I asked for his help with something right after the smile and now I’m wondering if he was upset that I was only smiling cuz I needed something?… cuz today when I saw him he wasn’t as happy to see me he was like “ excuse me I’m talking to someone” after I smiled at him and said “hey!” … and then he turns to me after he’s done with him and goes “yes ma’am?” what happened to calling me by my name didn’t even smile today and I’m wondering could it be cuz he’s unsure if I like him? Pls help also the last two days he was walking through the deli where I work more often then I ever saw him it was two days in a row, he did it once each day I only ever saw him do it one other time in the last month and I work 5 days a wAnd when he did he stared at me for at least 2 secs or more and later that day he walked past me and stared at me for at least 3 or more secs this time and I smiled at him but no smile back…

I mean I told you to just talk to the man and you didn’t he’s probably loosing interest by now, you do have to realize that. It’s work and it’s a big risk so it seems like your window of opportunity is closing if it’s not already closed.

You keep asking these questions but you just don’t take the advice.

Umm it kinda sounds like he might be crushing on you a little bit girl! All that staring is definitely not nothing. And that big smile back when you smiled at him first seems promising. Guys don't usually giggle and grin at girls they aren't feeling, you know?

But things did get a bit weird when you asked him for help that one time. I wonder if he thought you were just being nice before to get something, and now he's not sure where you're really at. Especially cuz you like, stared at him too, so maybe he's shy now!

If you're into him, I'd say keep smiling and chatting with him casually when you see him. But next time, flirt a little first before asking for work stuff so he knows you actually like talking to him and it's not just about the job. Ask how his day is going or compliment his outfit, something light.

And don't be afraid to initiate contact too - guys can be clueless so putting in some effort will let him know you're feeling it. Maybe try finding excuses to stop by his department or area more often? Good luck girl! Hope he comes around, sounds cute. Let me know if you need any other advice!
