A Whole Foods employee claims he/she once saw her snip a sprig without first acknowledging the indigenous Gods of America. Congressional hearings begin within hours. AOC livestreams a tearful message about the colonial implications of DIY cocktails.

I remember the "good ol' days" in my youth when I could trust most adults. Teachers and school staff/administrators actually held a tight ship. I felt most adults back then took responsibility and accountability and made the right decisions.

As it stands today, I feel like I am surrounded by a bunch of careless and clueless idiots. No one wants to take accountability, and I am skeptical to place the safety of my child in anyone's hands. I feel like we have backslided and common sense for a lot of things has went out the window.
