Part of why I think about this comes from my own experience of being falsely accused years ago and feeling overwhelmingly powerless while institutions treated the accusation seriously before I had much opportunity to defend myself. When I later expressed anger and frustration about what happened, I was often dismissed as misogynistic, an “incel,” or someone with a victim mentality rather than having the underlying issue addressed.

That experience is only one example, though, and I’m interested in the broader question: has modern feminism actually produced equality between men and women, or has it created areas where women now have an unfair amount of social, institutional, or legal power over men?

We need a wave of women looking in the mirror and thinking I’m just a normal girl I should find a normal average guy.

We need a generation of women with accountability. We desperately need this. Where women don’t think because one guy did this for me just because he wanted to pipe me and leave. Doesn’t mean that is her new standard of guy.

Girls that go solo travelling and so independent. I think it could be a red flag as they enjoy their company too much, and as soon as the relationship gets difficult they may just want to be single again. Also what value can a man really give a girl that is soo good at taking care of herself? Men are mainly judged in what we bring to the table.

A girl like this, can she really stick it out with you through the lows?

My friend ghosted me three years ago. Looking back, I definitely owe her an apology and I can see how I was totally an AZZ. I have no problem admitting I was wrong and giving someone an apology they deserve.

Here's the thing though, she ghosted me out of nowhere with zero warning. Not only did she not call me out on my behavior, she lied and said everything was fine. She told me it was our other friend Claire that was the problem and that everything between us was fine. Then a few days later she ghosted me but not Claire. She still talks to Claire to this day.

So yes, I feel I owe her an apology, but she never gave me the chance and then literally threw our friendship in the trash after saying everything was fine. 10 years just immediately stopped and dumped.

Despite looking back and seeing examples of things I'd like to apologize for, I also get kind of mad that she handled it the way she did. Maybe tell me what the problem is and then ghost me if I don't fix it? I want to fix it but then her total lack of regard for my side of things makes me feel like I don't owe her an apology because her behavior was just as selfish or wrong. I feel hurt that she would just abandon the friendship with no real effort to fix it.

I'd like to think that if she said *when you do x, I feel x. Stop. * I would apologize and things would be fine. But no, say everything is fine and then ghost me instead. How would you feel about it?
