As a non‑white Latina, why are people online calling me a “Karen”?

This was on FB, youtube and I think here once. The people on Youtube already knew I wasn't even white and not born in the US. I have no pretty nor special privilege to even be arrogant about. Though I'm now married and we have a son, I wasn't hit on that much during my younger years and I've always been average in looks. I was raised in the US since early childhood (ages 4 to 20) and then returned to my country for private reasons I don't care to share. Though I'll be coming back soon.

Yet that's the word used on me lately. I might be outspoken on certain topics (esp if it's about glorifying violence) but is to make valid points. Is this bad though? A while back someone once said in a negative tone that I sounded Westernized and tried explaining that I was a disappointment for the hispanic community. I've heard enough of the negative stereotype of the white woman and white mother.

It was originally about a racist, middle-aged white woman that complains a lot. How can that be fitting for a non-white Latina?
