The justice system is really flawed, esp in some states. What do you think it's worse? Someone that committed a serious crime getting a much lesser sentence and released when they don't deserve it or someone that gets a longer sentence for much less?

For instance on March 3, 1983 a father gave his 6 year-old son David sleeping pills and set the motel room on fire. David suffered 90% burns, survived and died many years later in his early 40's. He only received 13 years in prison. 13 years for setting his child on fire, destroying his life, for attempted murder.

Meanwhile there are other people doing 12-13 years in prison for much less than what that man did.

For me it's just another reason to home school your kids. I remember when attending schools in England most of the class could barely read or write as it was, classes were overcrowded, bullying was rife, students were getting stabbed and there was a serious problem with grooming gangs. I'm not sure what the UK government intends with this nonsense based off a tv show on netflix but as usual the UK government doing anything but tackling real issues.
