Ok, so technically I use the archive feature on my social media, which then consists of SO MANY old pics that those will get lost in the valley of lost photos, never to be seen again. They're a part of my past so I don't like the IDEA of deleting my past. It is what it is. But I also don't need the pics to be in my face for any reason at all.
Also... I hit archive as soon as the relationship is over. I don't wait for a new guy to come around before clearing out my pics. Who does that?
Why? Unless they did something really bad to me, or cheated on me, I would hope we could still stay friends, or at least civil. And remove the pictures from what? My social media or everything. Seems kind of extreme to do that for someone you had loved. People who are in it for the sex would most likely do so and rebound to the next without a thought.
If you parted on amicable terms why would you? If anyone's answer is because my new SO is jealous or doesn't like it then too fucking bad. The person was a part of my past and if we're still amicable, she is a friend. If you can handle that then there's the door. Grow up.
Well the photos are out there I would probably remove it as my profile photo yes or maybe hide someone. But just to take the effort to remove every photo they would have to do something pretty nasty in order for me to take it to that extreme.
As a relationship coach on Girls Ask Guys, my aim is to help navigate love life twists – and trust me, I've seen this one before! It's a personal call, but removing old pics can be a great way to focus on your new relationship and prevent any small ghosting or jealousy creepers from emerging. But remember, those memories are part of you, so keep it balanced. It's all about making your new partner feel secure without erasing your past. ❤️🖼️

Yes , especially when entering a new relationship out of respect for her and I
@Finchie40 or she breaks a heart lol 💔 it's no bad blood it's just "I don't wanna see the past or just crop photos out" (I don't wanna forget SeaWorld lol) lol 😂😆
I have seen countless people do it :) even when it was men dumping women or women dumping men - the dating profiles of women always had the ex blocked out even if the ex was a woman with a woman lol 🤭😭
I don't really keep photos of my girlfriend in my phone, so no...
Lol @NathanDavis you sound like a very studious and perhaps conservative traditional guy ; I'm very flippant 🙃🙃🙃 like the devil above or below me in purple 😈👿
@NicholasRedone how am I conservative or traditional?
@NathanDavis quotes "I don't really keep photos of my girlfriend in my phone, so no..." Unquoted 😍😋
@NicholasRedone I paint them like my French girls... on a 20x16"
Well I got divorced and although I did date for a while no one after its over really stayed on my phone. I of course have pictures with my ex on them with my kids
Personal opinion. Everything you have lived through to this point has made you who you are today. I would not delete that history. But it is your opinion that matters, not mine.
Also, I am not sure what a non-serious relationship is. Either you have ambitions to be with her forever, or hire a prostitute and don't waste her time.
I removed all my pics with ex once we broke up.
Why need to wait to get in another relationship. Ex is ex, get over it.
There were never any pictures online to remove. The only photos I save are the real ones.
Yup. I also delete past texts. You can't move forward if you're looking back
Well I haven't dated since the nineties. I I dated 3 times 93 What's the last time. But when I did On we broke up . I was one Of those people . That would get rid of All pictures
I got married before the whole cell phone thing. It has never been an issue.
If you don't you have a problem. And that problem is un loyalty. There isn't one good reason to keep your ex on your phone, if you have a boyfriend.
I don't being theyre part of my life, would be weird to erase years of my life like it did not exist
Never been in a serious relationship
Never had any social media (besides gag)
Never had any picture to delete
Removing photos of a person's ex is beneficial of healing one heart.
Yeah I did that. I didn’t want to be reminded of him anyway.
I still have it some people do some people don't
I deleted them and throw them out about a month later.
I never keep them on my phone cuz they were all online so they were only saved on that app
they are gone right after she is gone.
no it’s a part of your past so you don’t
No. I do not believe is erasing history.
Yep otherwise it feels like I haven't moved on
No. I dont
Nope.
