The Trump Transition Team continues to refuse to sign the 1963 Transition of Power law (induced by the JFK assassination) and related documents with the White House and GSA. He is simply ignoring the law, just like he did when the government was trying to get him to return stolen classified documents.

The Biden White House has continued to reach out to the Trump team to get them to sign these agreements and are being ignored. Since the documents haven’t been signed, the government is unable to grant security clearances or provide briefings to incoming administration officials, other than Trump.

But that also means that FBI can't conduct background checks on Trump nominees. Trump has taken the unusual step of hiring a private company to conduct the background checks. JD Vance has also already disclosed that Trump is going to fire FBI Director Chris Wray. Typically the results of FBI background checks are provided to Senators prior to confirmation hearing and interviews with nominees to give them as much information as possible about them. Transition agreements also provide office space, IT equipment, office supplies, fleet vehicles, mail management, and payment of compensation and other expenses to incoming members of the Administration. The Trump team will not have any of those things made available to them and will be taking over in the dark and without key personnel unless he convinces the Senate to recess itself.

Article II, Section 2 states:

“The President shall have Power to fill up all Vacancies that may happen during the Recess of the Senate, by granting Commissions which shall expire at the End of their next Session,” reads the clause."

In 2014 SCOTUS ruled that if a recess—whether inter or intra-session— lasts 10 days or longer, a president can make recess appointments. The person appointed by POTUS would serve in office through the end of the next annual session (2 year maximum).

here's my advice to those of you who still cares about the Truth: save money, maintain & build up your local communities, hope for the best no matter what, prepare for the worst just in case. Maybe, & ill be doing this myself, get involved more.

the people who are going to be most surprised to most of the bad things that are likely to happen these next few years are the gullible maga types themselves. They’ll be harmed greatly, their wallets, their jobs & possibly their lives. I sure hope they’ll snap out of it before for their own safety.

But just recall what happened during the pandemic when over half a million people died in the US. The hardest hit communities were in deep red areas because they were sold & believed the big lie that vaccines & masks didn’t work or another common one was ‘I didn’t get a vaccine & i made it fine’. completely missing the danger he/she was in & to others around him by refusing something as basic & scientifically sound as taking a vaccine to protect themself just in case. These people we’re playing russian roulette daily especially ifthey were regularly around others in close quarters. The rest understood & were no doubt still harmed but in most cases not as hard as the deep red parts were.

anyways what im saying is expect more lies, big lies, told to us by Trump & his cabinet of miscreant loyal followers who will not question him or go against anything he wants. The people listening to me & others who understand the danger he poses will get it & be more prepared. For your sakes please plan accordingly. i want us all to make it through this together. its the MAGA followers who will be hit the hardest when/if the worst of Trumps policies successfully goes through. Even if its unsuccessful it may still hurt us.

Again please dont misunderstand me i want us all to live & thrive together peacefully but lies especially by our elected leaders have dire consequences! there's no way around that.

Some worried politicians and journalists, (international & domestic) have begun calling Musk "co-POTUS". He is likely to be the DOGE Secretary if Congress approves the new cabinet level "Dept of Govt Efficiency".

Given his almost monopoly powers over electric cars, a social media platform, the space rocket organization that NASA is entirely dependent on and complete private control of the only & preeminent telecoms satellite system in the world, it begs the following questions:

Should he be working in tandem with government policy makers at all?

Should he be conducting private diplomacy not subject to the transparency required if he were a govt official?

Are there any national security concerns that he could exploit for private gain?

Is he even capable of getting a security clearance through normal & official channels? What level of security is appropriate?

Will our allies be willing to share intelligence knowing that information may get to Musk?

Would this alliance run afoul of antitrust regulators? Stifle competition?

Should he be required to divest his assets knowing that Trump hadn't divested his assets? Is not divesting something only a POTUS could ignore? What of the amulluments clause?
