Went on a date with a guy who said he wants to ‘bring me down a notch’?

Went on a couple dates with him. Dates were mostly ok. He was all flirt flirt and kept talking about the countries we could potentially visit together? Since he will be gone for a week abroad, he even gave me his ring to remember him by (mind this is our second date lol). Communication sorta patchy, with him bombarding me with compliments and then being AWOL for a few hours. Then he said a couple weird things:

1. He asked me if I’m hiding my last seen from him (which I had always had off)

2. He said that a pretty girl like me needs someone to ground her and take her down a notch (weird af I know)

3. Second date we got very drunk and he pressed me for answers about why I changed numbers recently (even though I already told him twice it was just a provider issue)

4. He didn’t push for anything sexual as he didn’t want to come across as too forward

Going off my instinct, it felt like he tried to get me hooked/chase him, for god knows what reason.

5. he really wanted a third date but would not agree on compromising on the date or location. Tried to pressure me for Tuesday and I said no, perhaps Friday. He then tried on Thursday and I said no, perhaps Friday still. Which he said, well then I’m not sure about Friday.

Basically my way or the highway sort of thing. I’ve never really encountered a guy like that. He’s prioritising getting me hooked + getting the upper hand over any connection or sexual encounter. I blocked him. Not sure if overreacted but what do you think?
