Boyfriend now refuses to sleep in bed with me - why?

I don't know what the problem is here.

Me and my boyfriend are long-term, happy together and have always slept in the same bed together at night.

Well, we get a new place and the bedroom needed some work before we moved into it. So we had been sleeping in the living room with me in the recliner and him on the couch. It has not been fun at all. Sleeping in a chair night after night isn't very comfortable. He also keeps the TV on and up loud at night and the chair is close to the TV, so it's pretty deafening to me.

The room has been done for a bit now, but he is still refusing to use it. It's like he doesn't want us sharing a bed together anymore or something and there's no reason for that. He just acts like he doesn't care. He will make stupid excuses for why it's still not ready... like there's a TV on the bed. Well, move it. It takes 5 minutes. Or he was saying it wasn't warm in there because the heat hadn't been on. Now the heat has been on for days and the room is just as warm as the rest of the house.

I finally got fed up with it and just told him tonight, I was sleeping in the bedroom. He had no idea why and didn't offer to join me. He just said if I wanted to I could and he went right to the couch still. I was beyond irritated at that point. I don't see how or why he would possibly want the couch over a bed. Why doesn't he want us to share a bed anymore? Clearly that's the case since he is refusing to use the bedroom.

Even worse? This bedroom is downstairs. It's not far from the living room at all. There's absolutely no reason he couldn't have joined me. He literally made no indication he had any interest in not sleeping on the couch.

I feel very alone and unwanted. We used to sleep next to each other every night and cuddle often. We really enjoyed it and he told me he could never sleep without me next to him now. Well, he sure has no problem with it now. I don't understand this. Does he not love me anymore?
