Context : My friend and I are arguing, I feel like she's settiting higher expectations aswell as not taking this seriously. Below are 2 texts.

Me:"Okay so I know Ur busy and I know that u can't respond all the time. I also understand that u don't want deep convos all the time and I get that. However I can't be understanding to the point that I ignore how I feel. I feel that we do only talk when u have a college question or issue. I feel that when I speak about "chill" things that u don't want to ask me more. I know that everyone should priorize themselves but at the end of the day if everyone did and I'll use an example :like a road with a give way sign, if no one let the cars into the road and put others first then we would all be in a traffic jam. l think my point is that sometimes Ur too wrapped up in Ur stuff to be aware enough that other things are going on too. I think we do have polar opposite views and that we are at different stages. But it goes beyond that, you need to improve from the inside out too. I think my points are valid and that if I do make mistakes I own up to them, this isn't one of them. I think u need to reflect "

Her:"Like it is valid I haven't been saying they haven't been but I just say my views and how it think it's been a long time since I haven't been able to be who I am and just changed and I really like this me not being a kiss ass or scared to sac speak to someone. Like I'm Not to the point of not acknowledgingp ppls feelings it cuz I don't want to deal with it and don't care and domt hv the time to care or just don't care in general nothing personal I just don't atm but it's still valid. I don't think I hv set expectations like I've just been having convo with u like doesn't mean u hv to look into it deeply. Like nothing for me rn is deep and don't want to think about it. Like I haven't feel like it has changed and idm cuz I don't feel like anything has chnage and we can still just talk about anything literally idm"

I'm on the the heels of a horrible break up from a relationship I never really wanted to be in anyway.

I'm sore but well on the mend.

This whole thing has been going on for about 6 months.

Long story short, on my street is a really popular and vibrant restaurant. There are a ton of wait staff there, all male.

There are a couple that would kind of scope me out but I felt it was curiosity since I am fairly mysterious.

One server in particular has pathetically, IMHO, tried to get my attention when I would pass by by clearing his throat.

Once he decided to stare and not look away.

I don't jump to these silent cat calls.

He's tried to smile at me and stuff but I've been stoic because he is a smoker and I am judging him. I'll be honest.

Fast forward, I have started getting takeout there from time to time. When I walk in, some of the kitchen staff will look at him when I come in.

I purposely look away and I see him in my peripheral vision staring at me.

When I was waiting for my order, all he could do was stand really close to me when he was ringing in his table and I was ordering take out.

I caught him once staring, he looked away so fast and swallowed so hard. He was so embarrassed.

Th other evening a friend of mine treated me and we ate there.

We were seated at the back. He kept coming to the back sneaking looks at us. He works the patio.

My friend ordered some takout and we were waiting for it on the patio. He came to take our order and went straight up to me. My friend then explained we were just waiting for take out. He smiled and left.

Then he stood at the top of the stairs so he could totally see and hear us but he was pretend not watching.

We both pretend to ignore each other, actually.

I am just still reeling from all the recent emotional abuse and I feel this push-pull behaviour is a sign he is another immature, undercover narc looking for attention from someone he views as vulnerable.

I had a huge crush on a guy for several years. I’ll refer to him as “A”. We used to flirt like crazy and I could tell he was into me. It was all in the intense eye contact and the body language. He also displayed jealousy if I was “flirting” with someone else.

A couple of years ago, I met another man to who I am now engaged. The first time “A” saw me with my partner, he completely ignored us and presumed he was just a friend. When he found out we were together, he constantly gave him dirty looks and was icily polite if he had to talk to him.

When A found out I was moving in with him and getting married to him, he became quiet and moody in his interaction with me. I saw him today and he barely said a word. I asked him if he was ok, and he said “yes, everything’s perfect”. He said it quietly gave me a fake smile.

Is he upset by the fact that I’m with someone else? Is he obsessed/in love with me?
