My girlfriend just bought her house. I thought moving in with her would be an opportunity to save money, but I don't know if it’s worth it. I’d only be paying $700 for everything, but I don't know if I can live the way she lives.

It’s a 2 bedroom, 1 bath condo. The guest room doesn’t have a bed and she has people sleeping over on a regular. They usually sleep on the living room couch. She told me when her mom and grandma come to visit we must sleep on floor because “they have health issues”.

I offered to bring my bed and put it in the guest room which she refused to do so. The reason for this is because she has so many clothes she doesn’t wear, and a bunch of stuff she has no space for.

Lots of times she has her friends come over with their children. Usually the kids play her bedroom. Which I see as an issue because one time I was staying with her she let the children play in her room. And one of them smashed my iPhone screen. Another issue is that 6 of her friends have keys to her house. And I don't know if I can live there under these conditions.

I am 26. I have it all going for me—awesome life, great achievements, tall and I’m really lucky. I can use apps and get plenty of matches, but I often find that I’m not treated well

What makes me consider giving up is the reality that when I see an attractive woman, she’s often distracted by endless options. ADHD attraction. It leaves me wondering if all this effort is even worth it. A friend told me the average girl has the same options as like a celebrity male. Kinda believable.

Should I just step back from the dating scene? It’s depressing. I can say I should be able to attract a stunning girl without too much effort when I realistically weigh up my life, my friends agree, so where is she? The problem I have is that I’m good looking but not very very good looking. I think that’s what you need, insanely good looks.

My daughter (16) is in the process of deciding what path to take post high school. Like all high schoolers she has grand desires of what her future will be. Though, honestly, I don't see the value of higher education at the university level.
