Kind of a part 2 to this question.

We were discussing why men hate being Friendzoned, and why some women don't understand why men hate being Friendzoned and why it IS a "consolation prize." Here is everything that I said before in the other question:

"[A friendship] has to be organic. Men and women see friendships/relationships differently. Most men will separate friendships and relationships. Men will have their guy friends social circle, and their one woman who they date/marry at home.

IF he has a female friend, he won't EVER try to ask her out or turn her into a girlfriend. Men do not ever cross that line. While women sometimes do sometimes turn friends into lovers.

Men don't want to "just be friends" with women they romantically like. Not now, not EVER. Men who say otherwise are just simps and orbiters who can't admit it. But they are. Men will usually equate being a partner as much higher status than a 'friend,' with a 'friend' being low-value, easily replaceable, and ultimately meaningless in that person (the woman's) life.

So if a woman rejects a man's romantic advances and asks to 'just be friends,' to some of those men, that means she just told that man that she thinks of him as inferior or unworthy of her. This is also why SOME men lash out and get angry. Those issues are all on them though, not the woman."

I am really struggling right now with severe depression. I had to go to the hospital last night.

I am 27 and never had a real girlfriend, although I had an online thing with this girl back in 2020. She was perfect at the time. She never had a male friend before me, never dated, never been kissed, and was still a virgin. It completely tore me apart when she rejected me when we met in person the first time.

I ended up having a ton of alcohol last night and almost blacked out. I ended up calling her mom and she was frantically trying to help me over the phone.

The thing is, I am so overcomed by disappointment over that girl. That new guy she is with gets to be her first everything. They are getting married this year. Who knows, they may have decided to get married sooner and are already married. I still talk to her mom, but I am afraid to learn any new details.

So my girlfriend is mexican, and apparently she has a tradition in her family, once a year, to play a traditional game from her culture (from some original mexican tribe) where all the men of the family and their gfs/wives play.

The men have to stand up in boxers, legs open and hands attached behind their back, and no cup and the women of the other teams kick and throw tennis balls, soccer balls, basketballs at their groin from a distance. The last man standing wins and doesn't have punishment, the first one to lose has no courage and every other women from the other teams gets to kick his groin. Apparently it was originally played with rocks instead (ouch!) and was made to compensate for women having periods and going through pregnancy.

So 1st place no kick, 2nd place kick only from 1st place woman, 3rd place kick only from 1st and 2nd place woman, etc...
I am scared to play, apparently this year its next week and she wants me to participate for the first time, apparently all men play and those who refuse for no good reason are made fun of and seen as having no balls, often rejected and not seen as a good marriage fit.

Also she says I'll have more endurance because I'm younger and she plays basketball so she has nice precision and could made the other guys fall before me, but all of this still feels weird to me.
Should I still accept because I love her and she does everything to me, to show her I would do anything for her and get one step closer to her parents' approval?
