Consider that we're talking about 2 people here, who are experiencing negative emotions towards each other. Anger and Sadness will be emotionally taxing for the other person to deal with. Aren't both their emotions valid? aren't both obviously having a difficult time with handling their emotions, the woman being sad and thus crying, the man being angry and thus shouting. aren't they both just in the process of working through their very difficult emotios? why is it that probably most of you will have thought the woman is the victim and the man is the violent aggressor here? isn't anger an equally valid and difficult emotion as sadness is? doesn't the man deserve the same empathy here?

Some have accused Erika Kirk of using forgiveness as a political tool, but anyone who actually listened to her statements knows her words came from faith, not hatred.

Forgiveness doesn’t erase grief or justice — it simply refuses to let bitterness take over the heart. Do you really think a woman mourning her husband would fake forgiveness just to ‘get back’ at anyone?


I personally think Erika Kirk’s decision to forgive her husband’s killer isn’t about politics or pretending — it’s about faith. In her own words, she said that forgiveness was the only way to keep hate from taking root in her heart, and that Charlie would have wanted her to lead with grace, not vengeance. Forgiveness doesn’t excuse what happened; it’s a declaration that evil doesn’t get the final word. She chose to honor her husband by living the values he believed in — courage, conviction, and mercy — even toward someone who didn’t deserve it. Condemning the faith of a grieving widow doesn’t prove moral strength — it reveals a heart hardened by anger. Forgiveness isn’t a political act; it’s an act of obedience and love. Erika’s response reminds us that faith can transform suffering into a testimony of grace.

At the end of the day, forgiveness reveals the condition of our hearts — whether we’re ruled by anger or guided by grace.

this happened in 1989. Junko Furuta, a 17-year-old abducted after rejecting a boy, then raped and tortured for 40+ days by four teenage boys before her murder. One perpetrator's mother later vandalized her grave, blaming Furuta for ruining her son's life.

Some things done to her by her rapist/killers:
-basically gave her very little food to eat and eventually only gave her milk
- regularly beat her to a pulp
-burnt multiple parts of her body using lighters and matches
-burnt her genitals with a match
-gang raped her multiple times
-forcefully inserted metal rods and bottles into her vagina and anus
-forced her to dance naked in front of them

Before her death, she had become disfigured from the beatings, could no longer walk and had multiple infected wounds.

on 4th January 1989, one of her killers lost at gambling and took his anger out on her. He poured wax all over her disfigured face, forced her to drink her own urine, threw her to the ground, where she began to convulse. At this point, the rest of her killers joined in and bloody beat her up, hitting her multiple times in the stomach. They poured lighter fluid on her body and set her on fire. She made a weak attempt to out the flames before her body stopped moving.
