Is my mother's (she's Latina) anger towards illegal immigrants right?

Even though my mother was once an immigrant, she has no pity for illegal ones that received assistance programs, come illegal, never learned the language and waste resources.

While I was born in Maine, my mom is from El Salvador. She described the exhausting and long process of waiting for her work visa and then how expensive it was going from resident (including learning English; she needed that to be a citizen) to US citizen. She gets very upset at the illegals and keeps saying it's not fair, how no one helped her, she had to pay it all and it was a long process.

I've seen this happening; the least tolerant towards illegals aren't just the natural born US citizens but the naturalized (then immigrants) citizens that cost them their time and money.

I agree with him and your Mom. Illegals are basically line cutters and then they also get all that free shit? What in the literal fuck is that? Every point made about how great immigrants are is undercut when we take in a bunch of welfare abusers that don't do much but have kids that join gangs and commit violence. Legal immigrants should be prioritized and illegal immigrants can get the gas chamber for all I care.

Absolutely!! How would you feel if you'd been standing in line at, say, an amusement park ride for nearly an hour and then shortly before you got on, 2 others came up and got right at the head of the line and go on before you? Wouldn't that piss you off? After everything you went through to get on that ride, those 2 just jumped to the head and got right on with no waiting at all!
Well, that's what she feels like!! She had to go through A LOT, a VERY LONG process to become a citizen and get all the benefits that those people are now getting by just walking the fuck in with their hands out and having EVERYTHING HANDED TO THEM!!

All four of my grandparents were immigrants, They came through the legal way, had sponsors, got jobs and never took a dime from the government. They became naturalized citizens. When my grandmother turned 65 and was eligible for Social Security she did not want it because she thought it was welfare. My father and his brother had a hard time convincing her that it was her money that was taken out of her pay every week.

I imagine if they were still alive they would take a pretty dim view of the Biden administrations open border policy.
