Why is he upset?

I didn't get into an argument with this guy, but I don't like him, and he's upset with me mainly because I rejected him. When I confronted him about his passive-aggressive behavior, I said, "The only reason you're mad at me is that I rejected you." He then claimed that I was trying to provoke him and that I have serious issues. However, he insists that his anger isn't related to the rejection. I'm struggling to understand why he is upset with me..

Wait, you don't like him romantically or as a person? If you don't like him as a person then why do you care whether he's upset with you. Just let him skulk in a corner until he gets over it.

If; you're saying you didn't like him romantically and rejected him because of that of course he has every right to be upset. Just keep your distance and leave him alone, let him be passive- aggressiveness its pretty easy to deal with that by avoiding him.

You then wemt on to say he was upset because of the rejection. I think everyone can tell you that's 100% why he's upset. Kinda mean to rub it in his face though lol.

Just ignore the dude and let him have his tantrum he'll get over it

I don't even talk to him and when I do it's just telling him that he needs to stop being a dick about it cuz he's at the point where he got mad at another guy cuz I like that guy and I was hanging out with him
