The relationship ends on good terms, nobody lied or cheated. Just turned out to be too many differences and issues you couldn’t work best. Was it a waste of time, or a good thing and something to learn from?
Personally I don’t see why everybody treats life as a race to the finish. Sometimes things don’t go as you planned, if you both tried your best just leave it at that and appreciate the good times.

In my experience the answers are usually divided between the sexes so I’m curious about the poll results.

In a 2019 Gallup Poll, 76% of Americans are fine voting for a gay or lesbian candidate for president. The same poll shows 94% of Americans are fine voting for a woman and 60% of Americans are fine voting for an Atheist

It is all over for the religious conservatives in the United States. They lost the culture war, they should move to the Middle East or Africa where their conservative traditional views are still popular. Do not tell me that the United States is a right wing Christian country when it is not!!

Looking at a PEW Poll from 2014, 61% of Republicans under the age of 30 support same sex marriage while only 22% of the Republicans above 65 support same sex marriage

Looking at a Pew Poll from 2015, 63% of Republicans under the age of 30 support making marijuana legal while only 17% of Republicans above 65 support making marijuana legal

I find another Pew Poll, where 35% of Republicans under the age of 30 are Atheists while only 6% of Republicans above 65 are Atheists

This is some interesting information. I think that the Republican Party must evolve their positions on LGBTQ rights, marijuana, Atheism and other social topics or they face extinction

I've dated a lot of women. Most don't know what they want 18-22, and the ones that have their shit together are still in college. All they want is sex or perfection, and they still don't even know what they want fully. 28-30s I assume is the sweet spot but then most have children and are emotionally insecure. By the way fuck the guys that messed up all these women. Polls for who messed up who.

We all want the best for ourselves in everyway we can, yet we live in a world of obstacles to navigate, and because of those obstacles sometimes it's necessary be selective on what you want, and sacrifice that which you don't want as much. And because that's basically been life forever, we've developed instincts that suit what we're working with, hence one of the reasons why men and women are so different in their personality.

It's a pretty shit state all round.
-Women are pressured into the role of a submissive, supporting, nurturing, sex objects who aren't taken very seriously.
Yet they are loved and treated as royalty so long as they stay young, fertile and embrace their role.

-Whereas men are pressured into the role of dominate, stoic, responsible, leaders who's safety and wellbeing is not valued at all, and are taken so seriously that when they make a mistake or do a bad thing they're treated with maximum punishment relative to what women and children get.
Yet they are respected and treated like royalty so long as they clime to the top of the greasy male hierarchy poll and embrace their role.

So do you embrace or reject your roles, and if so why?
Because one pattern I'm starting to see is those in healthy loving relationships tend to embrace them, even if they've spent the last 10 years playing little miss inderpendant or mr peter pan. And those repeatedly rejected who can't maintain a relationship tend to bitterly reject them to protect themselves.
I don't know, what do you think?

This applies whether you are in a relationship or not in one.

As a side question I'll also ask, do girls recieve more love from guys than guys recieve love from girls? And why would this be or not be? I would additionally like your opinion on this in the comments below as well.
(I asked that because I'd read a comment earlier where a guy calls it a fact of nature that [generally] girls get more attention than what he personally experiences as a guy; because he's a guy. I do recall the old saying that "women are the fairer sex", and so I do think there is large scale truth to the person's comment.)

To the main question, Western society is becoming more consumeristic, atomized and individualistic by the day, and so the concerns of others around us seem to get muted more and more. Hence, our lonliness epidemic is already more deadly than obesity and still increasing.

So therefore, we must be amongst growing demographics of people with either or both emotional and physical touch deprivation. In the title question I'd used the word "love" to address either both of these at once. But in the polls I will use "Love" as it pertains to specific conditions of physical and emotional touch.

I suspect that guys will make up most of the overall "deprived" demographic in the poll, because I've heard many experiences and perspectives similar to the comment I mentioned earlier along with suicide rates. Though with the attempted suicide rates in the West I'm certain that women experience emotional and physical touch deprivation to a similarly great degree in ways too.

But with that said, would you say that you are you loved, or deprived of love?
