It only gets dry and super itchy for me on my chest, stomach, shoulders, and back. This started back in late 2017 and would only occur in the colder seasons. But then from 2020 onwards, it would happen even up until early to mid spring. I think what caused it is me constantly using really hot water when showering and almost never using any moisturizing creams. I miss the days when that wouldn't happen at all.

Usually, my skin would get all red over those aforementioned areas and it won't go away unless I expose myself to cooler temperatures (e. g., taking off my shirt). It can happen if I eat foods and drinks that are very hot and spicy or hot and dry. It may also happen if I'm in a hot area with poor ventilation and low humidity. I don't get any rashes or hives or blisters, my skin just turns red in the parts that itch.

Since mid 2020, I've decided to start using such creams and way less hot water, but with some success. Obviously trying to seek a dermatologist in these past 2 years would've been difficult and at times impossible because of the lockdowns. I believe earlier this year I was hit with Omicron and that somehow made my skin less dry and itchy. Oh yeah, I'm also East Asian, who are known to not really sweat (I don't in the winter).
