How does he expect to be in a good relationship if he can’t communicate?

So I’m a naturally goofy person when I’m around people I like, but I hurt this guy by accident and he held this pain in for MONTHS not telling me anything.

Apparently he told his friends what’s been going on cause they eventually told me what was up with him. And like literally, he could’ve just came to me about it instead like an adult.

I tried talking to him about it and he kept giving me the cold shoulder and I apologized and everything.

His friends could see how I accidentally hurt him they understand why I wanna make things right, but he’s basically holding a grudge instead of talking it out.

Recently he got with a new girlfriend and he’s been telling his friends and everyone all their business and talking about how happy he is. That’s great and all but it’s funny how he moved on so fast and expect this new relationship is giving him the good life when he can’t even communicate his problems when things go wrong.

You've hit the nail on the head: he's not an adult.

He's ill equipped to deal with his emotions and his reactions. But he's an adult. Therapy and self-reflection exist and he's refusing to partake in them.

Let him go on his rebound, and don't bother with him ever again. He'll learn eventually - or maybe he won't - but he's an adult. He'll deal with the consequences. Or maybe he won't.

Like you said it was an accident and how could you know if he didn't communicate and say anything? Let him move on to someone else.
