So basically there is this girl that I have known for a couple of months now and I realized that she is decently cold and quiet with me compared to my other friends. I don't get it because she has known them for as long as she has known me, some even are more recent friends. Like for example, when she talks to them she is engaged, touching them, asks questions. For me, she is quiet, cold, doesn't say anything until I say something. I don't get it because were decently close, she goes to all my basketball games to watch me play, we hung out a decent amount of times outside of school, she wants me to teach her sports, and we even share drinks sometimes. Like I feel like she is so much more comfortable with even new friends she just met, hugging them too. Like I would understand if we werent close and she was disinterested, I would just give her space but like she already showed some dedication for at least a friendship, why is she so cold? Another example is when I greet her, like when I say hi to her, she says hi quietly and looks away (this makes me just go away because I think I am bothering her). But when she greets anyone else, she says their name , taps their shoulder and says hi, Im thinking she hates me now. Im just confused why she would come to my games and stuff but hate/ be cold to me as well. What do you think?
Superb Opinion
Judging from what you said, id say that she actually likes you and would entertain the idea of having something long and lasting with you
She doesn't see the other guys in this way, she sees them as a quick thing that she definitely doesn't want to continue
But she sees you as a potential long term relationship. Something truly meaningful

Only she knows for sure what’s going on. But if this behavior is that noticeable, you need to ask her about it
