So my boyfriend and I have been together for the last 3 years and been the best girlfriend possible for him. I sacrifice what I can/need to in order for him to be happy like spending money on gifts or whatever he needs with other things. Even though this might sound unhealthy, I went past my comfort zones/boundaries to please him. For example, he started to withhold sex because I wouldn’t get on birth control for him. I got on a method, not one he preferred, and it was fine for some time until he wanted more (the method he stated at the beginning). I told him I wasn’t comfortable with that but had to get it in order to receive anything intimate again.

recently though, he took it upon himself to purchase me a laptop that I need for graduate school which I appreciated a lot. However, he planned on buying it from a sketchy site and I begged him to buy it elsewhere. He said he wanted to do what he want, and got the laptop. I drove a long way to get it from him, and when I got home the laptop isn’t connecting to the internet which is a huge problem. Then the responsibility fell onto me to solve it when he could’ve made sure the laptop was fine while it was in his possession for a week or so. I had to drive more to a repair store and wait hours for them to tell me it cannot be fixed. I told him after and he claimed that the repair “isn’t that much,” and how I should’ve requested a cheaper laptop instead for school. I asked for the return label so I can mail it off to get a refund for him since he wasn’t going to do that and he said he was “too tired” to do so but wouldn’t give me his account information so I can do it myself. I’m not sure how to deal with this behavior or what to think of it considering how well I’ve treated him and he didn’t have to worry about a thing. Like I bought him a phone last year and it’s been working fine since. What should I do? Please explain.

Probably we all heard of one-child policy in China that was stopped at 2016. Personally, I recall hearing about it as child and suprised that people complied _because it really does unpleasant being told what to do for one's natural right. Having not known much as little girl I just felt chills over some having to enter jail for having a child.

Now, as grownup, I want to spat at Chinese government for controlling women's wombs.

They blamed decreasing birth rate back in the late 40s in the last century on women's education.

An unknown person on Weibo said infamously "So, no more foot-binding but brain-binding now?" The dude hit the bullseye! Why blame it on women?

Chinese government restricted reproductive rights by one-child policy, forced contraception, abortion and ligation particularly in the 80s and 90s.

Forced sizing of possessions for resisting the one-child policy was just plain tyranny.

China is a very toxic environment to grow up in, men are either giant babies or shivering quails (some exception are for the lucky ones) and women don't gets to shine fully with the restrictions.

Patriotism is admirable but loving your country when it only abused them is clearly manipulation higher-ups pulled or Chinese cultural teaching having to be separated from modern education.

So Chinese people, specifically women deserves better than a country that's fast to blame and exploit them.

As much as of a great power and production China holds, the leaders has to be splashed with lava over their heartless and inconsiderate ways.

I was scared that internet and Weibo is being tracked, are citizens pets? Clearly China had never gone out of the almighty emperor's period.

Sorry for anyone of Chinese origin, but how can you keep loving your country in such conditions?

I really do dislike people that can't be responsible. Men & women. I've seen numerous comments by guys here about not being responsible for their bastards. I've seen numerous comments by girls here about using abortion like birth control.

Are they NOT adults?

If you are not responsible at your job do you expect to keep it?

Do you expect your boss to say yeah you're a dipshit but we'll keep you anyway?

Do you expect your colleagues to say yeah you're lazy & good for little, but we'll do your work for you as well as our own?

So why don't you TRY to GROW UP and BE an ADULT? Be a MAN. Be a WOMAN. Someone that society can look upon and say he/she is an ADULT.

Not a toddler with their diapers still on crying about unfair life & blaming everyone cause they can't do anything as an adult. Because they're an embarrassment as an adult?

You're adults. Fucking try to be one. BE RESPONSIBLE.

Or for women like this - get your tubes tied.

For men like this - get a vasectomy.

Take yourself out of the gene pool because if you don't contribute much any children are only going to contribute less to society.
