You act like this has only happened once there have been plenty of women who have falsely accused a man of rape and it was worse than this story that you just shared.
@zorro8888 yeah and the man she accused she never even talked to him she only accused him cause her mom caught her watching porn so she made up a story to her mom that her neighbor raped her and he got 4 years just like that.
The worst part was that even though there was a significant lack of evidence... the judge decided to go by her word, they should have made her live out his original sentence in prison.
There is no way possible I could list all of the scenarios our there. Clearly , my main focus of this article was just one scenario because as I listed what bothers me the most is when people falsely accuse and act like it is harmless. How can something that causes so much destruction be harmless? I am aware of the many scenarios that exist I just wanted to focus on one because I usually see questions from women of gag in similar scenarios crying rape. I specifically wanted to debunk just this. If I were to speak about the many different scenarios this article would be chaos because I'd be in all different directions. Instead of looking for the negative aspect , look for the positive fact that I am highlighting an issue that is rarely spoken about.
The fact of the matter is any given scenario , crying rape in general is wrong. I am sure many people get that from the message I am trying to spend. I will look at your link.
"The girl who cried rape" which I compared to the title "the boy who cried wolf" means to give false accusations. I don't understand how that would be confusing. but thanks for commenting I am looking at the article now.
I gave two scenarios proving that in this article. That was the highlight of my whole discussion. Did you miss that entire section? That is my implication in what you mean since you said "it's a pretty bad example".
I'm saying your scenarios don't prove anything because nobody would consider it like that. Scenario 2 is the same as scenario 1. Nobody would think she got raped if the guy was drunk, because in that situation he didn't have power over her and didn't take advantage of her. If the guy was sober but the girl drunk that'd be potentially rape, but the way you say it just doesn't make sense. Nobody with any sense would think of it that way.
This article is opinion based clearly. It was written based on my observations of how people view common encounters. I also based this scenario off of the responses I have seen many women have on this site from other members. Besides internet responses , I have seen in every day life people also view scenario two the same as which I listed. My observation is true according to my experience (s). We all live in different environments so one view cannot be the same. Nothing in my article here is bad. I am simply spreading a message to people to be more responsible in their actions. Own up to them and make better decisions in life.
Also, if you'd like a few questions to people claiming their regret sex is rape here... I can gladly message you a view (and you can observe the responses).
Clearly I am speaking about a victim who is blaming themselves.
It's obvious it's the rapist fault.
Also where and u getting your statistics from? And take into account you are going by statistics that were publicly recorded. This doesn't for the large number of people who accuse others without going to the police.
*Also where are you getting your statistics from? *This does no justice for the large number of people who false accuse others without going to the police.

Wow good take
Thanks for being objective and seeing the pros and cons of a sticky situation and a big grey zone in these circumstances
You sound like a smart person
This double standard has been around for ages but seems unable to receive its death knell.
Nice take though, maybe it can help.

Wow that's so messed up... she left him in prison for 4 years, ruined his entire life and all she gets is 2 months in jail?

Yeah I know I really hope those 2 months she was in prison she was licking carpet. @zorro8888
That woman need to be jailed for 4 years too.

Oh okay sorry its just that the way you labeled your title.
"The girl who cried rape" which I compared to the title "the boy who cried wolf" means to give false accusations. I don't understand how that would be confusing. but thanks for commenting I am looking at the article now.
@QuestionMan listed an article that is even worse jonathanturley.org/.../ .
In the article you listed I wouldn't even call her serving 2 months justice as for what she did to that poor guys life. That's horrible !
Wow that is even worse she gets a million dollars for lying wow that's terrible.
Yes, it is :(
She cried rape and got away with it all.
This is why I am waiting to be in a relationship before having sex, also why I don't go out drinking and getting hammered.
and people wonder why less and less men are available.
can't wait till the whole population of america and Europe is mgtow muaahhhhh
People think it's fun and games to get drunk, it's really not, and it can ruin lives, and is often fatal
If the guy was as drunk as the girl nobody would consider it rape. Like nobody at all. So it's a pretty bad example.

"No body with any sense would think of it that way." My point exactly, which is why this article here to to debunk that.

*message you a few
It's very common in the military.
"Rape is never any ones fault."
Yes it is. It's the rapist's fault.
Only 0.02% of rape accusations are false by the way.
Clearly I am speaking about a victim who is blaming themselves.
It's obvious it's the rapist fault.
