Stop being so pessimistic. Make a men's "extremely organized group". Take some action, however small. Get off your computer chair and recruit other men who think the way you do. Then find a politician who is sympathetic to your views. Vote that person in and vote the current "puppet" out. Don't whine that it won't ever happen. At least go down fighting instead of idly watching your gender be castrated.
Well, what you observed was totally wrong. I suggest you re-read the entire article(not just two sentences) and look up the word petty. It doesn't matter how somebody sounds when saying something. I can bark at somebody or I can politely tell them that 3+3 = 6. It doesn't change the truth of the message
"Because most women are so caught up in their own sense of victimhood and sense of entitlement that they will not even entertain the idea that their conduct may be contributing to the problems of today's society"
A person with half a brain can identify that "most women" is not grouping every woman on earth together. And exactly what problem do you have with grouping certain women together? You did it yourself by saying society favors women. What practical alternative can you come up with?
I said "your article" groups women together, and that saying women have no code of ethics is a petty attack on women.
I never said women have no code of ethics. I said they do not have the same code of ethics prescribed to them that men do. It's nice that you conveniently chose specific sentences to excerpt while ignoring the crucial sentences that preceed them.
Being sexist is a pretty good strategy to keep feminism alive.
"Sense of victimhood"? "Male oppression"? Does rampant misogyny not exist? Sometimes I think MRAs are just people that are really terrible at putting themselves in someone else's shoes.
Except that isn't really going to happen as long as we have extremely organized women's groups exerting pressure on the legislative bodies to either make biased decisions for women or be replaced by more politically correct puppets.
You're making a bigger deal of this than necessary. I wasn't trying to start an argument, I was making a simple comment. All you're doing by responding the way you have been is making your views seem less valid because of the way you present them.
I was with a group of friends the other evening and one of the women spilled a drink on her skirt. She was embarrassed and said “everyone’s looking at me”. No one asked if she meant everyone in England , everyone in London or everyone on our side of the restaurant because we knew what she meant.

Do you see Mother Theresa as a spoiled child? What about Pema Chadron, Wangari Maathai, Joan of Arc, your mother, your sister, your girlfriends? As long as you are going to say all women are a certain way, you are displaying the exact behavior that you despise in them. If we really want to make a difference in the way women and men relate, then perhaps we should all focus more on what we like about each other rather than what we hate.
Mike: Although I agree with almost everything you said in your original post, I think you're shooting yourself in the foot by letting yourself be drawn into these endless, pointless debates. Read what you wrote: "I would be dealing with women who feel no need to concede..."
Wow, paranoid much? And you're going to judge me on that one little comment? Why are you getting so worked up? Calm down.
I referenced what you said in your article and stated my own opinion. That's not putting words in your mouth.
Yes, I do understand how ignorant what you wrote is. It's not relevant to what I wrote. If you want to take what I write and play mad libs with it, go ahead.
But don't use something that YOU wrote to insult me.
Well, I certainly know how ignorant you are. You can't even both to read a title in large font at the top of your browser. You choose to stop reading after one paragraph and quote brief sentences of a text instead of analyzing it as a whole.
Your socialist "let's all get along" political views make it obvious that you're from Europe. You have no idea how politics work here in North America.
Asking men to posses the same rights as women is not an "extreme masculist view"
You are comparing all women to spoiled children. It's stupid.
No,I just wasn't taking your pathetic little article too seriously. You clearly don't think. At all.
I'm baffled that a website would actually publish this. Utter rubbish.
i love how he opens with a sexist comment. its perfect. I'm so happy to be a feminist :)
