"We do NOT mean we want you to sit on your a** all day while we work fulltime. Equality means equality, it doesn't mean reverse 50s stereotypes (which WE did not perpetuate, by the way.)"
So all of those 1950s moms didn't do anything more than sit on their a**es all day while pops did all of the heavy lifting? Doesn't seem fair to me. Raising kids, being bent over a hot stove all day, cleaning and decorating... that's as full a full-time job as any I can think of.
I think that is how a majority of people see housewives yes, but I personally know being a stay at home mom is and never was an easy job. And thank you for being the only person to point this out, if I could choose MHO it would be you.
"Equality" is not synonymous with fairness and ironically this fixation on the former opposed to the latter is precisely why feminism is a lost cause from the start. The only way we can help women is if we acknowledge that they are not equal to men (at least not biologically, mentally, and evolutionarily) so that we can instead focus on fairness. But to do so would mean discarding feminism.
I appreciate your input and do agree with some of what you are saying except the fact that we are EQUAL to men in all the ways you listed, but we are DIFFERENT from men in those ways.
Feminism is about destroying masculinity. Ironically, feminists only have sex with masculine, high risk taking, and dominant men. When they treat you like garbage and you wind up 40 without a husband, don't complain about it. You made your bed, now sleep in it.
Signed, Every guy who is less than 6 ft tall, every guy who is a genuinely kind and gentlemanly man, every guy who has been tricked into raising another man's kid, and every guy who has been completely ruined by a divorce.
Feminism and men is like two magnets repelling each other, it just does not work, also we're kind of tired of the whole feminism mytake trend going on, give it a rest.
Also the wage gender gap is a myth it's already been proven to not exist multiple times, so again give it a rest.
2) Already achieved in the West
3) How is sexual submission related to feminism?
2. Not exactly. Women still earn a little over 70% of what men do in the highest paying jobs i. e. CEOs, physicians, judges, etc.
3. Again, I apologize for not choosing my words more carefully here please see my above comment.
2. 70% is a myth. It is all based on meritocracy
3. Can you post it here?
@QuestionMan BDSM is having the most loyal "feminist allys", so that is how. :)

People make enough.
Guys on here have said they wouldn't have a problem with feminism, if it didn't try to change how men act and think. I hadn't thought about everything that way b4, but I agree with them. Like if a feminist guy wrote a mytake on how feminist women aren't doing things right, all the girls would be pissed right?
Well for one I am not feminist. I fight for equality. No I do not see this as the same thing, I am sure we disagree on that. However that said you made some great points. I see these fake feminists all the time and I have never been able to verbalize the issue as well as you have. Good work.
"Stop trying to push your desire to be sexually submissive as your intention to 'understand women better.' This is akin to me putting on blackface in an attempt to 'understand what it's like to be black.'
So basically what you're saying is all men should be dominant and submissive is the natural female role? Hurray for feminism.
"No amount of crossdressing or "catching" instead of "pitching" could ever make you understand what it's like being a woman. And it is extremely offensive if you actually believe it ever could."
Whats your problem with crossdressers and to some degree transgender people?
I still think sexual dominance and sexual submission are just made up terms.
Otherwise, this just feels like a rant. I don't even know what to look for here...
All terms are just made up terms. We give them definitions to describe something and they either apply or they don't. But next time you take a strap-on up the butt by a power top, you tell me you don't feel submissive.
@Metlahaed Probably not as I have no idea what submissiveness means. I am unable to relate to the idea. It is completely unknown to me. I also don't know where the hell people learn it from. I think it's probably Cosmopolitan. If there's one thing I'd certainly feel, that's physical pain.

take a look around
@Metlahaed No one will ever convince me that this is "normal" and "typical".
I am not trying to convince you that. I think it is fucked up, but I can't deny that they both exist and people fit the sub-dom criteria
@Metlahaed I refuse to be classified as either. I have NOTHING to do with this. This is like as if I had to pick between being a Christian and a Muslim. I'm neither, and just because some people think you cannot be outside the box (and even assume "atheism" is somehow a "religion") doesn't mean I'm not outside the box!
I didn't say you are either, and you don't have to be either. I am not either. They just exist and you can be one, the other, both, or none. Sorry for striking a cord, I wasn't suggesting you must be this or that.
@Metlahaed Reasonable. There are just so many questions around here asking "Are you submissive or dominant?" to which my answer is always "I have no idea what you're talking about, and I don't classify myself based on this system whatsoever". They always act so confused! As if that was somehow an impossibility.
I don't think people *are* submissive or *are* dominant based on this. I think they just read a lot about BDSM because they like the fancy acronym, then they do their best to *act* "submissive" and *act* "dominant".
feminism has now turned to bull shit it has turned from women wanting equal rights to competition with men and man hate
no it hasn't, that's just the shit you see in tumblr and other social media
@strangersam well thats people see now a days
no those are just a minority of vocal idiots on social media
Kinda like G@G... minority of vocal idiots on the internet.
I'll pass. I favor an egalitarian system and will work toward that.
You go ahead and be the person you think you should be and stop telling others that their desire (for instance that sexually submissive) is unacceptable.
That you thought jumping into the rat race was what you wanted is your problem, not mine. You don't get to tell men to help you prop up this failed and dying economic system. You get to create your household and run it how you see fit.
didn't read , and in fact i dont give a shit what feminisim means i simply dont like it and would like it end , it dumb and dont even try to tell me what it means as i said i couldnt care less , stop being dumb.
Have a nice day.
Number 3 has a lot going on. It is very true and I am not surprised a lot of the guys here don't understand how it applies to feminism. It does, and it is important. Well said and done!
Thank you!! I'm glad at least one man understands what I meant.
Meehh.. I'm all for equality but don't need to associate myself with any group for that, it wouldn't help me getting my point out there.
If some feminists work towards something important I'll support it, if they don't I simply don't care.
I am a 44yr old white male who is proud to consider myself a feminist.
A man can be a feminist. A Feminist is someone who supports women's rights. Period. There were male feminists when Feminism was rising in America. It happens.
But I agree with everything else. :)
Just watch this video men lol
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JeXLg7uOH9UWow I'd never seen that tupac vid... check out that hair!! And he sounds so sweet wtf happened. Doubtful it was feminism though, more than likely rap game image.
LOL best part "GIMMA YA SCOOTER BRAH" Lold fcking hard
That skinhead chick at the end doing the moshgirl pose of the ground lol
i'm not a feminist, and i don't see that changing in the foreseeable future
can't wait for the crash
1. But feminist men usually are girly-men.
2. I've seen many feminists claim to support the idea of stay-at-home Dads, which is basically a role reversal. Do you speak for all feminists?
