Everyday it's something new for Trump to have to deal with from his own country's media...

Having been vocal on this site for quite a while (and with previously much more shock value opinions) I've had a taste of what it's like to have a relentless barrage of hatred unified by a mass of people who think you're Satan regardless of what you say or do thereafter. The people who do like and respect you a lot aren't especially vocal when it comes to defending you and while they give props, it doesn't always help when it comes to people trolling you all over for no reason.
This is not a pro or anti Trump. It's about the fact that the guy honestly does love attention, he wants to be loved albeit on a very grand level and, on some level, he does care about politics and about making America in the image he believes is best for the country. Yes, he uses unconventional tactics which spit on the tradition that started with the country's birth. But the guy is who he is, he campaigned as a man who believes in winning and has a proven track record of that. he hasn't claimed to have had much or any training for the job. He did not say that he wouldn't get into fights with Washington or elect people that they approved of. he didn't even say he'd fill his cabinet with blue collars joes that he was supposedly prepared to defend. And, as anyone who knew anything about him beforehand, he does not think in terms of right or wrong, he thinks in terms of winning and losing and relationships he makes are only made insofar as they can achieve that.
But everyday, the media finds out something else about the guy. They are everywhere in his whispers, his closed door conversations, his phone calls, they surround his daughter his wife his son in law even little barron made front page news just because his private school costs a lot of tax dollars. They smear him daily and though they started defeated at the dawn of trumps election, they steadily gain ground converting anti-hillary moderates and even conservatives to their cause. And now, it's so bad that the stock market is starting to go way down simply because investors are fearing that all this controversy is going to hold up a lot of economic policies trump promised to push through. in other words, even if the media is completely false, the fact that they slam him so hard everyday all day means his whole administration is held back from whatever it could have achieved unfettered. Yes, it will go back up but will the media ever stop going at him night and day significantly crippling his ability to govern? He may not care about public opinion, but every other politician fears it (and with good reason since he's the only one who seems immune to it vote wise) and he needs other politicians to get his stuff done.
And with Russia, i mean, it can't really get worse for him. The russia investigation despite some master distractions from trump never stays off the publics mind for long. True, it's liberals mostly screaming for its continuation but with all the developments its hard for anyone to ignore. Now there's proof the GOP knew the krelmin was paying trump and that Paul Ryan knew about it. Comey gets fired during the investigation, now GOP is conceding to separate justice department from case--if it were anyone else and i mean ANYONE ELSE they would be in jail for treason but because its the president it's been just everyone around him falling one after another until finally Trump will have to resign...which i'm sure he'd do before letting him forced out...
As they said in Nashville, "the heartland chooses the President" and yet one has to wonder if that matters at this point. Trump has a devout following that will never leave his side. his following is more than just people who think he's doing a good job they are people who simply love him. They worship the ground he walks on. They love the air he breathes. They would do anything he told them to do. They accept him with all his flaws. And maybe, in the end, that's enough for him.

if he weren't our president and thus potentially impacting the lives of millions of americans and potentially billions around the world... i could take trump forever because i love the circus BUT since his ineffectiveness as a leader potentially can negatively impact billions i'm over it
Agreed. He has been, thus far, extremely incompetent and totally unprepared for the duties and responsibilities of the Oval Office.
@pkdonuts5 i read today that in teh department of education alone. a department of with a $31 billion dollar budget the administration still hasn't filled all but one of the some 4,800 jobs that should be filled. that is just crazy.
Democrats want to see him fail. There fore they want this country to fail.
Not much, I hope
me too, actually. its making everyone look bad including him
