The cop’s partner frantically screamed into his police radio for help.

“Shots fired!” the officer can be heard shouting moments after the gunfire rang out.

“I need a f-----g bus! 10-85 10-85! My partner’s shot! My partner’s shot! My partner’s shot! Hurry up central!”

I do think that police should wear ceramic plates, a family friend has a company who makes bullet proof vests, I cleaned up after them as a first job, I do know that plates can be worn in a way that would have too much of an effect, its not like police already dont generally get back problems

Like 99 times in tv if a cop is shot by a handgun in the chest he will end up either dead or in the hospital even though in reality he or she would be wearing a vest that while useless against rifle or military rounds does provide adequate protection against civilian pistol rounds, and what is further weird is that when they get mentioned as being shot in the chest with hollowpoints they pretty much always die when the vest would stop them the easiest

The last eight years of the previous Administration spreading "hands up, don't shoot" events that never happened, and stoking anti-police sentiment for political gain, have taken their toll. Officer Miosotis Familia is just the latest casualty, in a sad long line of them.

If the media maintains that "extreme anti-journalism" can encourage hypothetical violence against the media, what would they say about their Brothers in Political Arms' constant anti-cop rhetoric?

Does that have no effect?

Or does that have no effect on any life that actually matters to them?
