Most children today are indoctrinated by the public school system. It's not even possible to have a conversation with most of them because they always resort to namecalling. Isn't that what this is about? You don't like having your political opinions challenged by someone wiser and more knowledgeable.
I agree with you to a point. However, I will not put up with some teenager trying to pretend like they know about real life. Like, I'm sorry, but if you live with mommy and daddy, you don't know shit. And I don't wanna hear any of that angsty teen bullshit either.
You have done a very good job of illustrating that young people who think they know everything in fact know closer to nothing.
The irony is that in 25 years, you will agree with me.
When anyone dismisses the ability to learn from others it is a sad day.
Dismisses the opportunity I think you want to say. There are exceptions, or at least I am one. All I needed to learn, I know. There isn't anything I really want to learn, either, though I am open to knowing it in instantaneous fashion.
@Ahsthen Not wanting to learn is the same as giving up on change and progress.
See the Cosmos.
I am completely fully of shit. Meaning I have crawled through enough sewers in my life that when I poke my head out of one to merely "offer" my advice, ya might want to listen. Unless you want to crawl through a similar sewer of your own.
I think it's hilarious when people try to insult others saying they are full of shit when technically, we all are.
@LegateLanius Luckily I know I am.
Sometimes it's just a seniority thing. It's really annoying to hear that crap from someone, but they want you to respect what they're saying, because they're older. Even if you don't agree with it, you try to respect the fact that they're older.
Great my take other than thinking Bernie Sanders is cool.
True, I have seen young people who are wise souls.
You have to earn respect. It's not automatically given to you just because you've lived longer.
You should go stand in the corner and think about what you've posted. 😂
I'm outside😊 no corners.
Well your humor is up to snuff. 😉
Interesting and great mytake.
Thanks😊
Your very welcome.😀
So true, if older people were so bright the world would be better than it is but it’s not
Cognitive and emotional capacities are different things.
I will take each under 18 opinion on a case by case basis with the exception of sexual advice I would never listen to underage teens advice on sex.
I agree to an extent but experience should carry some value.
This is why I always make my age way higher than it actually is on the internet. Lol.
Authorities tend to be older due to experience, though context dictates who is an authority. It's a simple arithmetic, kids.
Yes, it's true. Many elders are bullies over younger ones.
Good point. I've gotten some very insightful responses from my 11 year old nephew.
That's correct. But typically, life experiences tend to give older people that advantage.
there are phony old people here calling themselves "a boy"
