1) This is Jubious. It depends on the year. Some years there have been large scale conflict where death from war has been higher, some years there has been relative peace so suicide took the cake.

4) 44 million women are not ''missing'' in china. They haven't been kidnapped or abucted as you make it out, 44 Million women are missing to make the ratio of men - women equal, Infact, This number isn't even 44 million, Its 33.5 million. Missing as it, Never born. the use of the word ''missing'' here is misleading, In china there is a cap on the legal number of children a household can have, When families go over this cap, They are fined and taxed harder as punishment. (Like.. To a brutal degree). This is to combat Chinas grotesque overpopulation issue (Which is has to great effect).
Most families prefer having a son to having a daughter, And daughters go off and mary into other families, Whilst sons are more likely to work on the family land and provide for the parents. Girls leave home, Boys stay. Its obvious which one is more prefferable to parents.

13). Its actually closer to 0.98 Billion girls, And 0.99 boys, (Its basically 101 males for every 100 females). ''62 million of these girls do not go to school'', Aye, (Well i mean its 61m), But, You're just going to brush over that males is only 1 million less at 60 million from the exact same source which says females is 61million? This isn't a gender issue. This is just a complete issue.

14) In the last 6 years 142 thousand children have become mothers, Yes, But what if i told you 1.25 billion males have been sexually assaulted too, The only difference being they don't suffer pregnancy as a potential aftermath of that? Boys get sexually assaulted in horrific rates too, Its just almost never reported as men /boys are mocked / bullied / shamed for it, And they don't have the pregnancy to make it obvious. Again, this isn't just a girl issue, this is a both gender issue.

15)... Uh... No... A woman in Botswana's life expentancy is 68.1 years. (A man's is 63.3). A Japanese woman's is 86.8 and a male's is 80.5.

It is statistical fact women live longer then men, They are less subject to conflict and war (men get drafted and are forced to fight to their deaths), Women enjoy advantages like being able to exit sinking ships first, Women have easier jobs that are less strenious and dangerous on the body.

Good take but, in those points men have it equal or worse, i dont see why you only mentioned females.

I would have to disagree, I think they have it equally bad. Sure a girl is more likely to be raped, no education and treated badly, But a boy is more likely to die, be injured, or endure backbreaking labour.

I don't see how anyone can truly say ''this one is worse'', They both sound abhorrently shitty. They both need adressing and solving, And if were too all say ''The girls have it worse lets prioritse that'', Then we leave the boys behind suffering and thats not fair.

The two major standout statistics are girls suffering more sexual assault, and boys dying more. I personally don't think you can compare rape and death as one being worse then the other.

In a lot of third world countries the price of sending a child to school is very high and because girls can't really find employment that requires an education in these countries families pin all their hopes in investing in their son's future and the daughter can be married off to the best possible match for a husband. I point this out because it's not really fair to say that these countries view girls and women as worthless, it's more a case of impoverished people doing the best they can for their children in a harsh reality.

16. In first world countries a gender imbalance exists as too how the law and soceity treats men and women. With women not being punished the same as men for similar crimes and the courts being stacked against men in divorce and child custody cases.

That is actually a lot better than I thought, given that a billion = 1000 x million. I expected 162 million or even 262 million girls, frankly.

2. Well, that is the price of the "one world" ethos. I would not want to restrict opportunity, which comes from knowing English (or French, Spanish, Portuguese, depending upon the indigenous area)
