I used to let Trump supporters lay out a case for why he was so great. They were always mostly emotional arguments not based on facts, or the occasional policy stance, which at least you could discuss.

But then came the lies and intentional misstatements they didn't want to even address. There range from little, pointless nonsensical lies, to mammoth and important ones, culminating in the complete scope of "widespread election fraud".

Two other favorites of mine are "The Boy Scouts Lie" and the "Wall" lie. The former is a total fabrication, "pants on fire" lie, while the latter is a mislead.

After giving a totally inappropriate speech to the Boy Scout Jamboree (turning it into a political rally and talking about a sex yacht), Trump lied about getting a phone call from Chief Scout Executive Michael Surbaugh. Trump claimed Surbaugh praised him for the speech, saying ""I got a call from the head of the Boy Scouts saying it was the greatest speech that was ever made to them, and they were very thankful." Problem is Surbagh never made that call. Neither did the other top Scout, President Randall Stephenson, the Boy Scouts told the AP "We are unaware of any such call. What is truth in 2017 anyhow?" In FACT, Surbagh wrote a letter of apology to the Scout family, worldwide: Scouts' Chief Letter of Apology

Mislead example:
Trump claims to have "BUILT" over 475 miles of "new wall", but in actuality, about 400 miles of that was replacing existing structures. Is that really "new wall"? Well, sort of. But the mislead is that it's 475 miles of "brand new wall where no wall existed before", and that' how he makes it sound and sells it. Most of the new construction is on private land and requires condemnation by the courts, and now that he's gone, it probably won't happen.

Those were typical of his entire 4 years. Thousands of misleads, but even worse, thousands of outright lies. Yes, he was "our President". We the people put him there, even those who didn't vote for him. That's the way it goes in a representative Republic. Now Biden is "our President". Why ANYONE in their right mind is "still loyal" to man of 20,000 lies, is completely beyond my understanding.
