I lived with punjabi roommate years ago. His views towards women were not to say appropriate at best. There were some real positives to the guy so I won’t trash him. But he was raised in a different environment with different privileged.
I have a much different experience being a straight white guy living a liberal area in the USA. Most of the women out here are extremely self centered, depressed, miserable and difficult. They are supposedly culturally “empowered” and have a lot of freedom. But they keep making shitty choices with that “freedom” and when things don’t work out for them they do mental gymnastics to blame men and “patriarchy”. They keep wanting all the privileges but they fail to take accountability.
With freedom comes responsibility. Guys are held to that expectation. But western women keep expecting the best of both worlds and they are getting it. Yet they are miserable.
Sounds like India is a pretty wild place!
