Do you want to know who has viewed your FaceBook?

So you want to know who's been "stalking" you, or you really want to know if that crush of yours is looking you up? Look no further!

This is an easy step-by-step guide to find out who has RECENTLY been looking at your FaceBook!

Upon doing this myself, I found out that my GF is the #1 person. I checked the next 10, and they are all my friends from University, including one close friend of my GF's.

Here are the step:

• For this to work you need either GOOGLE CHROME or INTERNET EXPLORER. I haven't used any other browsers as of yet, but these are 100% working.


• Open up Facebook.com and hover over the grey space to the left of your screen.


• Once hovering over the grey space, you need to right click it and go to "View page source".


• Once on "View page source" you'll see a box full of random numbers and letters


• Hit CTRL+F, a search bar should appear - type in "InitialChatFriendsList" (without the quotes).


• When you've found "InitialChatFriendsList", you should notice there are a whole bunch of numbers following it. These numbers are the IDENTIFICATION NUMBERS of the people who have recently checked your profile.


• Copy ONE of those numbers WITHOUT ANY NUMBER FOLLOWING THE MINUS SIGN!!.


• Paste the number after www.Facebook.com (i.e www.Facebook.com/(Putnumberhere)


• Press Enter!!

This works 100%. This ONLY works for people on your friends list.

I checked the first 5 lines of numbers and there's a friend I have chatted with every single day for the last three weeks and he didn't show up on my list, whereas people I haven't messaged in months did show up. So it's not just the order of people you've chatted with. It's also not just the people who are available to chat, because several of my friends showed up multiple times in those first five lines.

I was also interested in how far back it went, so I found the last person to like one of my profile photos (3-4 weeks ago) and they did not show up on the list. So it's at least recent with in 3-4 weeks.

I copied all of the numbers from that section into a text file so I could search them by ID.

This is not the people who have checked your profile, it is just the people you can chat with.

There is a reason to why that object or array is named "InitialChatFriendsList", it is the people from your contacts you can chat with or, at least the people from your contacts you have talked to.

PLOX LEARN TO READ: PEOPLE YOU ***C A N*** chat with. A mix of your contacts AND people who aren't your contact and you have talked to them before. Dang this people nowadays doesn't get things even when the answer is thrown at their faces.

I don't 100% believe this.

On mine, the first one is my mom who does chat with me a lot on facebook and posts to my wall and vice versa. The second is a guy who likes me. I chatted to him a few times months ago but we rarely interact on facebook, although he has admitted to checking my profile once in a while. Him and my mom switch places in the code sometimes.
Third and fourth are 2 of my close college friends that I interact with sometimes.
And the last few change frequently.
So its so hard to explain. Apparently its various things like who you chat with the most, who checks your profile, likes and comments, etc.

It goes in the order of the last person you talked to, not the last person to view your profile. It used to always be my ex boyfriend first because we talked non stop, but one day my nan was first and then I realised, she was the last person I talked to on Facebook.

Yeah, same, but the first person to appear is the last person you spoke to, someone you spoke to most recently. People you've never messaged will not be on the list. It's purely a message list, not who's viewed your profile. There is no way to see who's viewed your profile. There are apps and "hacks" around which just make people happy for a brief period of time. They're not true/accurate.

Lol i'm not bothered who looks as i got every privacy option on, of course the government and the police and can still see everything your saying... but it protects against nosy sods at least and there are too many of those around, i'm gonna do it though out of curiosity.

cool dude... i did REASEARCH on this man its the the sequence in which i have been involved in a chat with them... it simply tells whom you had chat with but nice trick it was... BUT its nothing like WHO CHECKED YOUR profile... K

Actually, it is and it isn't. Facebook decides who you are most "connected to" based on how many times you view each others profiles, comment on each others stuff, and etc. It doesn't necessarily prove that they are looking at your profile a lot, because of that.

Ya what max said, I tested it by getting my friend to look at my profile then I checked and he still wasn't in the top ten digits of code that represent people.

It's true. My chat list is all the people I've recently been talking to, or who I "liked" a status. I tested this out and the first few people were ones I haven't talked to on Facebook recently, and I haven't been on there pages until I put the numbers in. I showed this post to my sister and another friend, and they tested it out and it wasn't the people that show up in their chat windows. I was also one of the first people to appear in my sisters list. I haven't interacted with her on Facebook in ages, but I was just on her page after I tested out her number. She was on my page today because of a picture I posted. We didn't talk to each other though. We don't talk on Facebook. We text each other.

This thing has been debunked several times. It's some chat list algorithm, not some way to find out who has been on your profile. Hence the name, InitialChatFriendsList.

Nope. As someone who has been studying coding for a while now, I can tell you that this is not how it works. Plus, Facebook would not make it this easy to find out who has viewed your profile the most, considering that they take people's privacy p seriously.
