I think bullying is a problem, but how we try to stop it... well we over exaggerate. Bullying shapes you as a person when you get older and can help you learn how to fight back depending on your personality, and sometimes it ruins a person for life. But the way that schools teach it, and don't show someone how to help themselves, but instead rely on an 'adult' is where its bad. They should be showing children and teens how to help themselves, not relying on others.

Yeah... it's one of those 'things'. I never saw that going to adult was a choice I should make... until the threat... where I felt I had no choice. When I was a kid, and went to seek help, I was laughed at... so I assumed I had to handle it myself. I hit a lot of kids with inanimate objects to defend my house from eggs! lol.

I think bullying is a problem for kids in school. I don't think it's a problem for adults and I don't believe adults can be bullied. Harassed? Sure.

Kids who are bullies usually are stuck and unable to stick up for themselves. Adults have more options and therefore, in my belief, have no right to say they have bullies.

Like you I'm from an age of bullying before social media. I was on the start of it - people talking about me online.

Nowadays, young people seek help anywhere. Someone to talk to. And not always do they know who they are talking to.

I would say it's a problem - I'd say it's a new development of bullying. Although people exaggerate, i think the development is a serious problem

It's a problem. It's crazy and scary how far some bullies will go. WARNING this video does have some disturbing images of what these 2 bullies did to this one girl.

I hope people will watch this and realize how much of a problem bullying is. The people that don't realize that is very ignorant and need help.
Also, the guys in the videos are jerks for making fun of her. It's not a laughing matter (until it's you).

It's kind of exaggerated I mean it's bad but not that bad because I feel sorry for both because something is wrong at home with that bully and they take it out on others. The bullied children aren't really mentally strong they need to have confidence in themselves. I was raised with great pride and confidence in my home I got bullied for like a week and ran home once the next morning I beat that bullies ass and til this day were cool.

damn. i've been bullied myself but nothing compared to what you've gone through. people can be so cruel. with all the stuff that's happened to you and your sister, how can you even imply that bullying isn't a real problem? don't get that at all. also, boys in elementary school threatened to rape you? that is some sick shit. parents seriously need to learn how to raise kids.

There is no such thing as over exaggerated bullying. Even what seems to be the smallest form can leave huge scars on a person's life. Steps must be taken to ensure bullying is eradicated.

Just be careful what you consider "bullying", many times, a man will tease you, because he likes you. The problem with teasing though is that it's often seen as bullying, especially when we start making fun of your weight (which good men know is a no no). As far as women bullying, you're on your own, women have their own rules when it comes to that, I'm assuming, just telling it like it is from a male perspective

    A problem.

    ...

Everyone perceives the world differently but no one perceives personal insult exaggeratedly - to the point it's insignificant.

Why aren't you going to a couensolr or some type of teacher about it? If your afraid of your bullies bullying you 2x now because you told on them then bring that up with the couensolr they can probably change your seat or class

I'm so sorry... don't think your alone. Find some friends, let out any pain inside you in a creative way, and don't allow these people to get to you. If they physically try and harm you, have them arrested. You are strong. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise! If you ever want to talk to someone, I am always free to have a chat. Feel free to message me if you feel like you need a friend to vent to! :)

It doesn't end when school does. The real world is even worse. They learn how to network. They graduate from pushing you, to setting you up.

Where does the "over exaggeration" come in? Bullying is a problem. No question. You just proved that with your stories and I and many people I know can support the fact that bullying is a big problem.

A common misconception with the title. I am not saying that it's an over exaggeration... its asking a question to the readers. So far only two people among the many believe bullying to be an over exaggeration. I obviously don't believe it's an over exaggeration!

I don't think it's called bullying in America. It's fucking sexual and physical assault. It seems 'normal' over there... I'm glad I never grew up there.

It's definitely a problem, I think everyone's been bullied at some point in their life people just hate admitting to it. And it certainly affects everyone differently.

I used to make fun of people but when I saw others doing it I felt guilty. I stopped and kept my mouth shut, even defended other people. Can't believe I used to think it was funny. 😕
