What's the difference between quirky and weird?

What do you think the difference between quirky and weird is? Is quirky when someone's different but their differences can make then endearing or fun? And weird is they're just awkward and do things that make people a little uncomfortable?

Definition of weird: Uncanny.

Uncanny means strange or mysterious, especially in an unsettling way. Something that is uncanny is typically negative and eerie. So being weird is negative. It means you are strange in an unsettling way.

Quirky, unlike weird, does not have negative connotations. Quirky can be compared to being an oddball. A person who is an oddball is eccentric. They are unusual but in a harmless way. You may be frightened by a weird person, or uncomfortable around them. Whereas you may find a quirky person amusing or interesting to be around.

I think quirky is something people would call an attractive person and weird what people would call an unattractive person.

Quirky to me are a tad eccentric. They have traits that most people like.
Weird to me is a person that goes against the standard acceptable behavior. Still likeable but a tad strange.
Fucking weird is a person who makes you uncomfortable. Their awkward and a tad scary.
