Could be true. If they are your friend and are harboring feelings for you then when drunk might be the only time to feel courageous enough to say it. If you are thinking you feel the same then try talking to them while sober and find out.

I don't take anything a person says while intoxicated as serious.
I don't mean I totally discount it either.
If you have interest in this person, do your evaluation without any drugs.
